You know you're in good hands when a latex puppet raising a spaceship out of the water can bring a tear to your eye. That music by the Maestro John Williams just does the impossible every time, and right around this time he was in his prime with blockbuster after blockbuster (mid 70s to late 80s). By the way, the reveal of Darth Vader as Luke's father is still considered one of the greatest twists in cinema history.

The paradox of Luke's vision of himself as Vader: Luke only saw this vision because he took his weapons into the cave, against what Yoda said. However, Yoda knew this vision was what he needed to see. He used Luke's own stubbornness to guide his path, knowing Luke would not listen.

There’s also the multiple levels of what the vision was showing him In hi desight we know there’s the aspect of Luke and Vader’s blood connection, and on the surface a message of “if you were to do this fight as you did…you’d become the next Vader”

I do have one critique tho...I know you only have 10 min of audio and video to work with for fair use. That being said, if you are not showing any video or playing any audio, we end up watching people sitting down and breathing in a trance-like state. Maybe you could edit those parts out. It would help the pacing of your reactions...in my opinion. Love yall!

I was in a band 02-12, we got to record at Skywalker Ranch in San Rafael, Ca 2010 and stay the weekend there, it was an absolute pinch me moment. Imperial Walkers are based off the ship and cargo cranes at the Port of Oakland, Ca....true story.

When R2 was spit out by the swamp monster and Luke says, "You were lucky to get out of there," that was a change from the original. The original line was "You're lucky you don't taste very good." To me, that change makes even less sense than the "Han shot first!" controversy from A New Hope.

The vision Luke saw in the cave had a dual warning to it. The first that if he was not careful that he would follow in Vader's footsteps, the second was that Luke was nowhere near ready to take Vader on. That is why when the helmet blew Luke saw his own face staring at him from under the mask.

"I am your Father"... This was the BIGGEST Reason to watch them in Release Order... THAT, and with each Movie you'll see More and Bigger "Force" effects. If you watched them Chronologically, Vader's admission wouldn't have been a Secret, and 4,5 and 6 wouldn't have seemed as Spectacular compared to the First 3.

Chronologically spoils all but about 15 minutes of episode 6. It's crazy people think this is a good idea. Sure, the prequel trilogy stands fine on it's own, but you're _really_ meant to watch them knowing what you know from the originals.

In the original movies there are no females in the Empire, but both in the Expanded Universe and on the current Canon there are several. From foot soldiers to high ranking officers.

Comments as we go: 1. "Laugh it up fuzzball"🤣 2. Lando is the only character that pronounces Han differently. 3, Great Cockblock CP3O (NOT) 4. IRL Ford and Fisher were having an affair. He was much older and married. He gave her permission to put it in her memory book before she died. 5. The "I KNOW" was ad lib by Ford because he thought it's something Solo would say. Lucas kept it and even changed lines in the next movie. 6. The cave scene is for Luke to get a look at what it will be like if he turns to the dark side. 7. IMVHO the next movie is the best of the original 6 Landis based movies.

7:42 actually they well and truly do…we just sadly don’t see many on screen, for the simple reason those characters aren’t part of the story of this film. Three notable highly powerful females from the empire right off the top of my head - MARA JADE, the “emperors hand” a shadow agent/assassin with force abilities - YSANNE ISARD, director of imperial intelligence - NATASI DAALA, admiral commanding a fleet of four star destroyers protecting “maw installation”, a weapons research/development base hidden inside “the maw cluster” (a cluster of blackholes) All three of these would become major players in the aftermath of the battle of Endor in what was referred to was the “warlord era” of the empire and beyond But of course, the stories dealing with these characters, and many other female characters were thrown in the trash by Disney so they could make way for their own female characters…(?)

there were both female stormtroopers as well as Officers in the Empire. There were also female Sith too though none of them are in these movies. The female sith predated the movies by hundreds if not thousands of years. In the new Disney series of movies there are both Female Stormtroopers and Officers shown on film for the First Order

The opening scene where the "yeti" attacks Luke was put in the movie because about a year before they started filming, Mark Hamill was in a bad car accident and had to have his face reconstructed. The scene is to explain why Luke's face is scarred.

Lia, I don't know if I informed Ellie about the secret of Darth Vader being Luke's father when she 1st reacted to this movie. But anyway, for this movie, all main actors have to sign a non-disclosure document meaning that they cannot give any details of the movie without being sued. Mark Hamill aka Luke signed his document. George Lucas and others give some details of Darth-Luke relationship in the story. Mark filmed the scene with David Prowse (Darth's body) and James Earl Jones overdubbed his voice in post-production. Mark cannot give any details of that scene for over a year until ESB has its premiere in California in 1980. Everyone who were there surprised when Darth Vader revealed as Luke's father including Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford. Harrison asked Mark, "Hey Kid!" "Why didn't tell me?!"

And we had to wait *THREE YEARS* for the conclusion to the trilogy back in the day, after that cliffhanger! Speaking of which, the last bit of the movie where Luke, Leia and the droids are on the main ship and Lando and Chewie are going to look for Jabba the Hutt and Boba Fett was filmed after the main movie was done because George Lucas and the director felt the original ending was too depressing with an unknown fate for Han Solo. This lets people know that there is a plan in place to find and recover Han Solo.

Yes, as far as I know, you ARE the only one and you HAVE switched universes, because Lia's first (online) reaction video to ANY Star Wars movie was 2 weeks ago, when she was part of the reaction to the movie, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The only other reactions they have online that you might be referring to involved Ellie and Michelle (i.e., Miche, pronounced Mish) and they did a LOT of Cosplay for this series.

Return of the Jedi is the end of the story, but in order to understand the characters she needs to watch episodes 1-3! After Return of the Jedi watch A Phantom Menace! Glad she is having fun!

Suggestion; Your editing style makes it hard for me to watch your videos. There is too much Dead Air in your edit. I get copywright problems, but many other channels seem to do it better to make the watching experiance worth our time. I get Muting or Blur the Movie when you speak into your microphone, or Switching between Full Background view or Small box video, but far too often you simply have like in this video Lia (great BTW) and Ellie on video, with NO Sound or Video on the screen, and it happens so often I am making this comment. Please do not misunderstand, I like to see reactions like your channel, but your editing really can be improved. I suggest watching another channel do the same movie and see how they do it differently and maybe apply some of those methods to your reaction videos.

I'm certain C3P0 interrupted Han and Leia's kiss on purpose, he was being a d-ck. He's a protocol droid and would know customs as well, you don't interrupt royalty when they are kissing!. He was mad at Han but can't openly get back at him.
