This video is spot on, Graemememe Parker! I'm a military veteran, did my time in the sandbox, and unfortunately carry that PTSD cross on my back. My psychiatrist recommended i watch calming shows, like ASMR or cat videos, and your channel was the most recommended on KZbin. At the time, I had been watching The Critical Drinker quite a bit, so why not another Scot with a channel? Best thing I've ever done! I love watching you and Craigy Boy and the family. I'm a city boy and never had any i interest in cows or farming, but now I'm identifying things like digital dermatitis, ulcers, the necrosis, and other hoof issues. Just seeing those cows getting trimmed and healthy has been more than theraputic. Just want to say, thank you for being you and sharing your work experiences and fun! You're an angel!

Why I think you guys do so well on the videos is the sheer level of authenticity. The trimming itself is super satisfying and calming (for some bizarre reason) but if the whole HGP weren’t who you are I don’t think it’d work half as well

Hoof trimming brought me here out of curiosity but you are the reason I keep coming back. The hoof trimming is what you do for a job but your personality is what keeps us here and keeps us wanting more. There are other hoof trimmers on KZbin that I could watch but to be honest they don't hold my attention. I also find myself wanting to scream at them "Graeme wouldn't have done it that way"!!

I think that a lot of the appeal is that Graeme is just a regular guy like many, and has ADHD. I am auDHD, and I can see that helping animals and being in nature is very healing to those of us who are neurodivergent, to see someone like us, who is thriving and in turn, he helps all of us to know that we can do better and we can be the helpers. Graeme is just an honest man with a family and they are happy. He spreads that positive energy all over the world. Thank you Graeme!

For me I watch Graeme because I love to see problem solving and listening to the thinking behind the diagnosis. I love to see Graeme's expertise in working out what the problem is, explaining the causes to us and guiding us through every stage of the process. I love that he has a real love for cows and an acute desire to relieve their pain and discomfort. Add in his beautiful family and the banter with Craig and Graham the camera man plus the views of the utterly gorgeous South West Scotland and we have ourselves an entertaining and heart-warming video. Every time.

'I was a farmers son. He died and the farms were sold' Get the book if you haven't already folks. Graeme's a master of understatement 😂 New wrap for the existing pickup with your new cars' colour as the wrap with black lettering. I know...................I'm boring you with that suggestion now. Love all the videos Graeme. Hope you and your lovely family are well and the new challenge of your cottages is coming along to schedule. Loads of love to all of you 🥰🥰

Tech worker in Silicon Valley here. One of the things I appreciate about what Graeme does, besides the obvious relief of pain and discomfort, is that incidental to that he mentions that farmers are very invested - money and emotions - in the health of their cows. Here in the States one of the stereotypes of farmers and ranchers is that they are all about profit and care little for their livestock. I realize that Graeme is on the other side of The Pond, but farmers here also "get" the connection between animal health and productivity and do not enjoy their animals being in pain/discomfort.

People basically watch Graeme's videos for the same reason they watch Dr. Pimple Popper. They get to see a complex looking problem get fixed in a relatively short span of time. Our lives are filled with so many challenges and problems that may take years, if ever, to get fixed. Theres a great deal of satisfaction with watching someone who's an expert in their field, fix what the person (or cow or farmer) can't fix for themselves.

Why do I love these videos ... because I like watching g these little girls or boys getting their feet looked after, being put into the road to recovery and essentially looked after and cared for. That's the warm and fuzzy feel I need. In a world where a lack of care is so prevalent, getting to see animals being cared for and treated with respect and that 90-95% of it is preventative care. I wish the rest of the world worked like that

Radio interviews are never easy because the presenter only has a very limited knowledge of the scope of the job. That means they can ask questions that can't just be answered with a quick 15 second comment because of all the background info that needs to be taken into account. This interview was interesting with them bringing that psychologist on to give her interpretation, and her giving your efforts that affirmation that all your fans already knew from watching hours of your content. Of course, your over-the-shoulder videos bring close to the action, and your voiceovers and the humour you share with your guys really makes a difference. All the best for 2025.

Whether you decide to get a new truck or simply update the current one, you should consider either installing a trailer ball mount at the front bumper or teaching gibberish speaking Graham how to hold the bottom of the steering wheel when backing up. But the front hitch makes it way easier to backup a trailer when the steering wheels are in the center of the rig. Thats how we backed up the race boats when I was on a hydroplane racing team 79-82.
