There are two different types of Gymkhana: Ken and his absolute precision driving, then Travis with his on the ragged edge stunt-filled runs. Both are excellent in their own ways and great to watch.

Thought this throughout the video. I wasn't too impressed with the driving after watching Ken for so many years, but no one puts on a show like Travis and I'm glad to see that just because he isn't as technical doesn't mean any of the fun is taken away.

@@ayaxro I agree electrikhana was pretty tame, and I think trav did even better in this than he did his last. I see Ken as more of a perfectionist with clean and fluent slides while Trav is the wild child who makes the most of each stunt and corner. Both are childhood heroes for me and i love how they're videos almost contrast each other

Hoonigan keeping Ken's name alive with a driver like Pastrana is a great thing to witness, i know Pastrana took the rains from Ken well before he passed but to see the credit on the screen was actually emotional. There's a driving movie without CGI too: Alivehoon (internationally named as Alive Drift). Better yet, the cars and drivers are all part of the drift community long before the movie came to be. No stunt drivers, no cars built just for the movie, just cars and drivers doing what they've been doing all this while, now on silver screen.

A lot of the time the extra rubber marks are from them doing the stunt multiple times to get different shots without seeing camera men on every corner, not from failed attempts. Scotto explained it in a video awhile back

Ken's style is pure finesse and on a whole other level, but Travis is so fun to watch, he has mastered the art of send, the bridge jump, and then the water skip really had me questioning if they had multiples of these cars lmao. Looks like they wrecked the car near the end in the water with the jet ski. The whole front snapped up, and the close ups ended after that......really bad hit......what ever, crazy ride!

Dude, that is the most intense Gymkhana I have ever seen. I count tell you how many times my jaw dropped, rewound and re-watched. I think this is my favorite of all time. The rail slide, high speeds, high jumps. Even Cleetus. Well done.

man, I've always loved Gymkhana's with ken ripping. But Travis just brings another level of madness to Gymkhana. The raw adrenaline, him looking genuinely terrified in some shots, and just the absolute CHAOS of everything he does. It fit's perfectly with Travis, and Travis fits perfectly in Gymkhana. Major kudos to everyone involved!!

I enjoy them both and all the video production work, shutting down cities for a short time, etc. I'm good with not even having large cities at this point of decadence, so shutting them down is a good thing.

I was at a Nitro Circus event with VIP pass. I have nothing of value to tell him that thousands of people haven’t told him already, so I didn’t go speak to him. But we could, and people did and he seemed so nice and open. Same goes for Tom Pages. Those guys deserve so much more respect and visibility than any soccer player.
