The builder evidently has a keen eye for details and Vin knows that there is also a time limit on the video as well so I think he was simply trying to keep it relegated to the obvious things but on a car this well engineered and built you could probably stand and talk about brake ducting for 2 hours and never see the rest but I also feel this level build should get a more in depth bit where the builder can walk us through his creation idea by idea. Let's be honest though and keep this in context - the Z-coupe has ALWAYS been downright conservative compared to the 2000GT. And, while the Japanese did have a decent number of 'bullseyes' with their rather eclectic Eastern takes on peak muscle car Western styling(let's be honest, they probably would've been looked at kind of like how the young & inexperienced Chinese auto industry is today by outsiders, albeit probably with a bit more inherent respect for technical ability & craftsmanship given the difference in education &, [ahem], employer-employee relations), the Z-coupe was still an extremely budget 2000GT - that unfortunately looks like it(why else you think EVERYONE body mods 240Zs?) - and the 510 was still just a knock off BMW(which itself was TOTALLY inferior to good ol' merican iron careening your way with 135 1970s HP from nearly 6.0ls of V8 WOOO!). While I'm definitely a fan of a lot of their styling(DAMN do I want to build a rallied out Dat510 with a screamer Ford 'Cyclone' 3.7l V6 crammed in), let's not misrepresent what they were then.

To the builder: first off, absolutely amazing work. Now let's get technical. This build appears to be an exercise in thermodynamics. Your efforts to control temperature is astounding. A next level of testing would be to test each system under normal driving, hard driving and then track conditions to see what effect all this plumbing does to these temperatures. Also noting the effective and optimum ranges these systems and fluids need to operate as it is possible to be too cool for some of these lubricants. Then you could manipulate the cooling to optimize the most effective range of operation. Say your diff fluid is never getting up to temp, it will create drag on the rotating assembly in the rear which will rob power and control. One could easily wire up temp sensors for each item to further testing. I also must acknowledge the packaging of everything. Your space management is astounding. It would be a pleasure to see all of your engineering through to auctual results and numbers on paper..

In the beggining of the video I was like, "Man, 5 years is a long time to wait for a car. I wonder if the customer thought it was worth it?" Then he went through the car and it made me realize that it was 100,000,000% worth it. A true masterpiece!!

Damn, for something so built, I was expecting it to be much louder. Looks insanely good, so I’ll give it a 9.5.

I think that x-pipe does kill the sound. The right bank is choking the left by the looks of it.

Jackson Murphy I mean... it does have to run on the street and I don’t know the Oregon Disturbance of the Peace Laws off the top of my head but I bet they have something to do with it. 🤔🤔

I 've always loved this gen 240z, but this build is incredible. That exhaust is crazy as well as every other aspect of this Sema worthy custom fabricated Z.

So wait, this thing has countermeasures for radar?
@Woozy916 жыл бұрын
Yeah, pretty simple. K40 radar detector.
@M3iscool6 жыл бұрын
@@Woozy91 Wow. I mean, I know very well what a radar detector is, and how it works. Never have a heard of a device for civilians that would make one invisible to a radar source. It seems like that would be _just a little bit illegal_ in most states.
@jaredshaffer39016 жыл бұрын
@@M3iscool Radar jammers are illegal. This is a Radar Detector and LASER jammer. Laser jammers are only illegal in a few states whereas radar jammers are illegal country wide.

Why, add two illegal tools. it's a track car... Drive hard on the track and don't be a dick on the road.
@naseeb464 жыл бұрын
@@DE-ew4vr Being a dick on road and driving fast is entirely different things, although, some people find a way to connect those two.
