We’ve got not one but TWO Australia-exclusive cars built for burnouts racing today. They’re both clean, they’re both mean, and they both have USA in their DNA. Dean G’s Holden Calais looks like a comfy family sedan inside and out (if you ignore the carburetor peeking from under the bonnet), but its LSX-based engine pushes out a whopping 800 crank horsepower - and that’s not counting the big ol’ bottle of NOS in the boot! Danny’s Capri keeps all the business beneath the engine bay… except for the MASSIVE blower! Its Chevy “small” block on icy methanol and pushes 900hp to the crank, putting the POWER in “power cruise”!

Can't say I'm a fan of the brown but honestly this car looks best suited in that colour, and the interior is just the icing on the cake, lovely build mate

True, but i was not surprised really, i voted for the holden, but that first race made me think, okay this might go the opposite way, but then my initial judgment was right in the following two races, the capri might be powerful, but just like all burnout cars, they are just not built to get traction and go like a purpose built drag car, i am a Holden guy, but i have always had a soft spot for the Ford Capri, so this was a hard choice for me lol.

He probably sprayed on the last two runs harder than the 1st, because 1st run he left 1st and the ford reeled him in, second race ford got the hit and he walked away from him anyway? Definitely a quick change in tactics.
