I found a "script I" button about two years ago in a front yard in central Georgia...........found a sterling silver WW2 army air force pin yesterday, in immaculate shape. Holy Smokes Kurt! I went down to Gulfport Mississippi for the "Cruiz'n Tha Coast" Hot Rod Run. I brought my detector to swing the beaches a little while down there. I picked up enough hyp needles to fill a 1/2 gallon container. All the beach chairs out there had them all around them. All the way into Biloxi Beach. Kids running everywhere and needles under their feet. The rental guy said people come out at nite, shoot up all nite then wander off at day light. Horrible Huh? Awesome Confederate button. You can mail it back home to me. lol HH and GL Brothers.

Kurt, First off Congrats on recovering the Lined "I" button! Killer find for sure and one on my bucket list! You story holds water, could very well have been a prisoner or wounded Confederate soldier recouping from wounds received at Gettysburg! Wounded were sent up and down the valley all the way here to Winchester to recoup or die following the battle of Gettysburg for months after the battle. You must also keep in mind that Maryland was considered a swing State early in the war and the term "Brother fought Brother" probably originated from the Maryland boys! Either way a GREAT find! Brad and his marbles, Sweet! Beautiful Presidential token made for a good day! Always enjoy your vids, HH and thanks for sharing!

Congrats on the confederate infantry button Kurt! I found a confederate script I button in Rhode Island a few years ago, my theory was basically the same as yours, a trophy of war. Hi Kurt, many thanks for the video. Great Civil War button. Nice president Pierce token (i will look on wilkipedia who was the president Pierce ). Yes at 22,56 it's a 1942 italian coin (20 centesimi = 20 cents, ruler = Vittorio Emanuel III, and rev = Savoy shield within head right) ; my theory...lol : this coin was bring back in Maryland by a former WW II US Veteran. that B&O seal is nice. CSA button would make sense in MD, it was a border state after all...(or maybe Confederate POW during the war. There were over 7000 confederate pow's in Baltimore after the battle of Gettysburg.

i cant belive the vials were full most likely was scramble heroin shake my head i find empty vials all the time when i detect here in baltimore, they were prolly testers from a dealer they basically throw a hand full out on the ground for all the junkies to try, good job finding them before a kid did or anyone for that matter, im glad i got back into detecting and i am one year clean almost,wish i never pawned my at pro all for a fix, all of you guys makeing these detecting vids really motivated me to get clean and get back into the wounderful hobby im out detecting everyday and it really changed me i hope soon to get a good detector but i was lucky to find a bounty hunter for ten bucks, thank you for making these awesome videos and happy hunting

Chalk up another good one, Kurt. I really envy you guys having the leeway (most of the time, anyway) to dig such massive, unhinged plugs. He probably already knows by now, but just in case, tell Paul the religious medal he found on his previous hunt, is a St. Benedict medal...real nice looking piece, too. By the way, pretty sure your presidential token is probably from the series given out at gas stations in the 30s (Shell?). I've found a few of those myself and, as you can imagine, there have been different series from different companies over the years.
