Make sure your boss understands what you can add. If they can’t navigate round them. Bad bosses rarely change. If they’re not behind you within 6 months they’re unlikely to back you after 2-3 years into something you want. No matter your skills, a bad boss can really stiffle your career potential.

Sometimes the best working relationships lie on the other side of a difficult conversation. Don't avoid it; instead embrace it, navigate it well with empathy, accountability, assertiveness and good listening, and you might win a friend. :)

A job is good because of the people you work with not just what you are doing / the salary. Even a lower paid job with a great team is better than 3x salary in an unprofessional setting.

My husband and I were discuss the point on being responsible for one's financial destiny. No one: school, society, govt or employers would teach us financial freedom as this is a personal lifestyle choice and can't be prescriptive. On the other hand, they may even us more avenues on how to spend our income. This was my major take home

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I shall be sharing this with the young people in my family as I wish I had someone like you to advise me when I was in my early 20s. I have two questions - I really want to help financially educate young people (especially the ones in my family) to help them understand finance/money so they avoid the mistakes I made. Where/how do I start, they are between the ages of 11-25? 2nd, I am in my late fifties, I've followed your video to become debt free, (thank you!) I have an ISA which I'm saving into and a few other modest financial assets, other than continuing to save and invest, what would you suggest as the next steps? I appreciate you can't answer every individual question but perhaps you might do a video along these lines sometime in the future. God bless you for your work, you are genuinely changing lives🙏🏾
