When you first start game you have the .243 Ranger, when you get Polymer-tip bullets you are able to shoot Moose, Bears, Coyotes, Whitetail & Blacktail (ALL ON LEYTON LAKES). Thanks for starting this out for all the people who are just starting this brilliant game, you are a welcome breath of fresh air!!!

Hey Accurize, I found this channel about 2 years ago, and watched it through my Junior and Senior year of High School. Me too, just got this game. But this is the first video I can relate to. Other videos seem to have it on ARCADE mode where theres a bunch of animals and they can go on a shooting spree. I take ONE SHOT in two hours of walking around. Just the birds and crickets for me!

Lol. I just recorded another episode a couple days ago and before I could leave my spawn cabin, I hit a herd of deer 2 females and 2 males…then saw another sitting in a resting zone 300meters away. All within the first 50 meters. That’s the sort of stuff I keep running into. I wish they cut it back by about 97 percent. Your mileage may vary. 🤷‍♂️

A mode called "The Hunted" would be great. A survival mode where predators are stalking you and you have objectives to complete while being attacked by said predators.

Hirschfelden is a broken map. There is a spot near the north-eastern corner of the map right by an outpost where if you drive through on your quad, a stream of 20+ boar will run across the road. Get out your shotgun and it is easy pickins!

could do with some animals in this game..for me its...85% wandering about ..10% creeping and following tracks..and 5% shooting, and a shot clears all animals off for miles ,and thats if you dont get killed by lions

Funny I actually think it’s far too “arcadey” with too many animals presenting themselves for shot after shot after shot. It sort of takes the thrill of making a shot on a once in a hunt type moment.

When I was new to this game I was very bad because I thought the green was the way your animal went

The animals dont get spooked by spamming the caller, so there is no reason to wait 2 minutes inbetween calls. And btw, the starting deer call has a range of only 150m, later on you can purchase a call with 250m range. Most calls like the jackrabbit call and moose call have a range of 200m.

9:20 I disagree. I am a new to game player, not a new video gamer. Hunting pressure only removes need zones, if the pressure gets too high. I still go hunt pink zones because they are animal hotspots. I only have to remember the time, where to lay, and which way the animals come from. I do this because these hotspots are close to one of my few fast travel points. Only a 99m bellycrawl. I spend all night running to new watchpoints, then hunt during the day at places I have harvested before.

You said it's been years since you played this I'm not for sure when it was added but there is a option to manually reload and chamber your gun.
