I've been asked to do a starter video many times, but I just don't know where to start to be honest (got some parts ready for use in a future video, but there is just so much to be said about this game, and without using a mic its just to overwhelming for me now) so I was very curious what you would make of it... & mushrooms do give points m8 ;) ... 1 hunterscore to be exact lol (the 1st 1000 common mushrooms you find give you 1 point and the 1st 1000 rare mushrooms give you 1 point also the 1st 1000 of the other collectables (called treasures) give you 1 point each)... check your account Ranks/Collectables ;) When you shoot your rifle you spook everything in 320m since render-range changed from 220m to 320m ;) Hunterscore: You get 1 point for each animal you you shoot (up to 1000 ... check 16:00)... 1 point for each kill per weapon (also up to 1000) so you get 2 points per kill ... and you get 1 point for the mushrooms I mentioned earlier. But Hunterscore gives you nothing so I never cared much about it Nice video m8!

Three other pieces of advice, missions generate the gm$ you need to get better equipment, activate them all, and use the towers, they give good vantage points, cover and steadier aim, and finally get a bow and learn to use it. A bow will allow you to kill without spoiling nearby game.

i have a question when i play with my friends and i kill an animal it shows no score 0.00 CSS but harvest value shows but when im watching videos the score and the c.ss shows in some videos that i watch

Hi Alexander. The CSS (Cross Species Score) is mostly all 0.00 when a female is harvested or some birds if you shoot them on the ground. Some female species will give a lower CS Score. So, harvesting a really nice Bobcat is the same as harvesting a really nice Turkey. But harvesting a female Whitetail is the same as a female Elk; 0.00 CSS Deer are scored by size of antlers... while reviewing your LAST HUNT... CLICK on the SCORE underneath the deer on the right side (i think its red) and it should bring up a new page of the way that animal was scored. Bear is based on the size of the skull I think. Bobcat on the size of the skull i think. Tusks on Boars and Hogs. So males are always better than females. Hope this helps.

Hi, Hunter Fisher. I don't think so. I think you can place it in your second rifle slot. I'm not 100% sure, but I think you can do that without getting the holster.

Hi joe. Make sure you have your HunterMate equipped and then LEFT Click your mouse. Sometimes you have to be right up close to the animal as well. As far as I know, I looked under the Keybindings to see if there was an option... there wasn't. You can be in MAP view and at the top left is OPTIONS then find KEYBINDINGS if you want to change anything there. Good Huntin'.

Hi Dary Hazmi. Press F2 while in the area of a Tent or Lodge. IF you are too close to an object (i.e. fire, bench, tent, tree, etc.,) the camera will be behind you. Turn slightly to the left or right and press F2 again the camera will point toward the players face.

An other good way is to save up 22000 gms buy mission reset and 44 mag do as much missions as possible 0ver 25000 preferred buy mission reset and spend the rest on guns

It demands the graphics for sure. How do similar games run on your rig? Just make sure you have non-essential programs off. Start with the lowest graphics then turn them up one at time, and check again. You can try closing the launcher while hunting, but it's a pain without it. ALT-TAB out to check your next mission or quick trip to the store while still In-Game hunting. A low end graphics card should still run the game decent. Hope this helps.

Not really, this thing can practically run off a Chromebook with an i3, and it did for me! just gotta turn the specs down or the textures become really blurred

I just have one question, is there a specific animal i should do my missions on because for now most of the missions i have done are for roosevelt elks and whitetail deers, but is there any other animal where the missions are pretty easy and are worth doing?

Hi Zelkan. I would go for Whitetail, Mule, Blacktail, Sitka. They use the same caller. After that, Rabbit, Pheasant and Hogs are pretty easy. Mostly species on maps Loggers Point and Whitehart. You can always use the single shot shotgun with right ammo to take down nearly all animals. @@zelkan8598 Bigger bucks tend to come in to a caller more slowly than smaller bucks or doe's. If you can, wait it out and see if a big buck shows up. I typically hunt Redfeather Falls, middle left or bottom right for Whitetail bucks. :)

No. You are free to hunt all animals ethically with the weapons you have. Your first hunt can be Grizzly w/ shotgun slug. Good Huntin'! If you accidentally shoot an animal with illegal ammo, "Doc" will send you a message about it. It happens sometimes. As does, wounded animals you can't find in the woods. "Doc" will let you know you left one in the woods. Good Huntin'!

It was like you say little bit while ago. When they use subscription based monetization. You could only hunt 3 animals + 2 that was every week in a rotation but that was like 1 year ago probably? Those 2 animals rotate every thursday (i think) and they were different everyweek. Everything else cost real money. Now its completely free to play instead of free to try. Now you can make money while hunting male deers or anything else that has somekind of trophy. Its a grind but the game is great if you are into the hunting :) There are people who spent thousands hours in this masterpiece. I would suggest try to also check HooCairs The Hunter on youtube. He is the world second on the leaderboard statistic:) he has some uselfull and entertaining videos.

Hi Victor. Good question. For getting Gm$, I recommend missions. Get the easy ones first. A lot are just "Spot" an animal, find tracks, etc. As for the guns... I have a video "My Guide To Guns". It shows a cheat sheet I use that might help. It's up to you really if you prefer the big rifles or shotguns & bows. I recommend a bow, .300, and pump shotgun. That single shot shotgun is a really versatile weapon because of the 3 types of free ammo. If you're quiet and lay down you can crawl right up on them and use the shotgun. Hope this helps.

Hi Golden One. You should equip it in the inventory under Equipment tab. Place it in one of the open slots. The slot has a number on it (4,5,6 or 7,8,9). Once you're in game pressing that corresponding number should bring up the caller. Press and hold LMB. Once you make the call, that call will last about 4 or 5 minutes. So use it again within that time to keep the deer interested. Hope this helps!

Hi Lukas! Great question. Make sure you are shooting male animals. A female doe, for instance, doesn't give a score or money. Some female species do give a little Gm$. (e.g. female hogs & boar, bird, rabbit, etc.,) It may be the wrong ammo or weapon, as well. Does it say, "Unpermitted Kill" ? Hope this helps.

​@@lukastibensky9205 Sure... a male deer has antlers. One set on the left and one set on the right. The tip of each spike is what you call a point. On a "typical" deer they are even numbers... 2,4,6,8,10,12,14 A young male may have 2, 4, 6. Then as they grow they get more. A "non-typical" deer is a rare set and it looks amazing. After a hunt, review you Last Hunt Statistic and you'll see a picture of the deer. On the far right there is an outline of the deer with a red score under it. Click the red score number and it will show you how animal species are scored. Bear is by the size of the head. Rabbits by weight, i think. It's cool because you can check anybody's score clicking the red numbers.

Hi, best player. Do keep in mind, these animals will nearly walk right on top of you if you're prone. Watch them closely and if you can hear their footsteps they're within 30 meters and that's close enough for shotguns and bows. Try one of the shooting ranges on Whitehart Island, Loggers Point, Redfeather Falls or Timbergold Trails. It's free ammo if you're standing on the shooting platform provided.

Hi RealArchaa. Is it the HunterMate you don't have? By pressing the TAB key it should bring up the HunterMate or your last held item. You can hide/holster things by pressing H. Check the key bindings under OPTIONS to be sure.
