This is my first year wearing prescription eye glasses and I have a new respect for people who fight the fogging up when wearing a face mask trying to glass for deer it's just all around alot harder to hunt with glasses 🤓

Y’all inspired me to try some bow hunting from the ground for the first time. Had 3 good stalks this weekend, was able to get within bow range of 2 of those (and almost in bow range on the other) and got a shot off at a big doe. Unfortunately I mis-judged the distance and missed low, but that’s probably the most fun I’ve ever had bow hunting.

Did this to a moose afew days ago. Took 12 hours from hunt to package and cleaning. We got it 1 km from our house and we walk for our deer, elk ,moose. Most times its just a spotting game but sometimes is really fun when the action kicks in. we do use rifles tho , 243. And sks 762x 39. native hunters on treaty land.

If you boys ever get the mule deer NR bow tag let me know. I can show you some good public land spots. I got rid of glasses after I missed the biggest buck of my life with the muzzleloader because of foggy glasses. I then got sick of contacts because they always dry out if you keep them in overnight and you're always worrying about your solution freezing if you bring it along. I'm on week 2 of PRK surgery. Best decision I've ever made. My sight is still a bit blurry right now but once my eyes heal completely it'll be just as good as with my contacts. Lasik is even faster healing than PRK from what I was told.

Binoculars (at least every pair that I've owned) are capable of being adjusted for perfect sight picture for those of us with bad eyesight. Read the owner's manual of your binocs for details. Easy Peasy!!!

Funny story. When I was just old enough to hunt by myself I was blind as a Bat but didn’t realize it. My uncle was in a tree stand and saw me walk past a deer bedded down and never checked up. Wondered why I wasn’t seeing deer. I got contacts and boom started to see deer 😂

When did you start wearing glasses ? Just asking because , i wear glasses and used to have an issue with them fogging up on cold mornings . Just a tip , the eye doctor's office has the best anti-fog stuff ! I tried "Cat Crap" and every other brand out there . My eye doctor gave me some green shit that works amazing .

If you don't have the Cat crap with you, rub spit on the lens then wipe it. It's a scuba diving trick but it works good.

Rub it on , wait 60 seconds and wipe it off , it's money ! No name brand on it though . Just a little sticker with his name and address on it . I'll remember the spit trick though !

Why doesn’t THP just create your own line of hunting gear? I feel like you all are to the hunting industry what Googan Squad (like them or not) is to the fishing industry. I just feel like they’ve got a really good blueprint that could be replicate fairly easily. Just a thought.

The biggest thing is the cost! It’s hard too start and do all of that and make video’s! If we can get them too 1m-2m subs I think it would be possible forsure. It just requires so much work and fundings doing the work that they are more then capable but having the capital too start and get going and keeping up with demand on top of it is an understatement. Maybe start small like they do with shirts and hoods and do alittle here and little there then yeah I could see it but your talking years from now too turn into what googan drops millions into too get started. I like some of the guys at googan but your gonna have that anywhere. I actually was teamed up with rob over seas super cool dude. Has really made something for himself.

Not to be a negative Nancy. But I kind of like that they aren’t intensely grinding into gear lines and all the corporate shit that comes along with being popular. A lot of the heart of what makes a video great gets lost, once there is such a focus on the grind of trying to corner the market on something. Googan is an example of that I think. They definitely earned where they are at, and mad respect for that. I stopped watching once they got so intensely into that stuff though. Videos lost the fun and just felt dished, out for the sake of making a video. I think THP has a really great balance. Awesome merch, some sponsor ship stuff, etc. They got it meshed really well with their style. That kind of a minimalistic, ethical, and hard earned approach to hunting.

I don’t know how well those guys are actually doing on Googan Baits etc but from what I can tell outside looking In they’re killing it. If it has the potential to change the outdoor/hunting industry forever in a positive way and set your family up for generations - then you take the leap IMO.
