Enjoy your videos. Curious though, I know you shoot with A6500 and a7iii, what experience do you have with A7C? I’m debating the two. Love the slightly smaller frame and slightly newer focus system, but not sure how much I’ll miss buttons and more DLSR like viewfinder. I’m a stills hobbyist. My “big” camera is the canon 80D, my favorite camera is the Sony RX100m6. Just things the canon can do better with stills. Ready to move to full frame. Im dancing in two worlds, three with the iPhone 12 Pro Max. I’ve liked your insight. Just wondering if you’ll be taking the A7C for a spin and giving us your take.

Depends on the situation, there is no ND filter that will let you film with those settings in every situation.

I got a Sony A7i with no IBIS and FE 50mm F1.8 so should get this FE 20mm F1.8 Len? I am thinking of getting the A7iii vs A7riii vs A7rIV vs A7IV vs A7c with a SIGMA 100-400MM F5-6.3 DG OS C at the end next year? I want to do landscape, Wildlife, Astrophotography and shoot airplanes.

Great review! I bought a tamron 17-28 at the end i wanted the 20mm and 24mm gm but at the end the tamron covers both focal length and even wider. I am really happy with it

Yes, there is more micro-contrast and these two just make the pictures stand out, especially if there is a lot of texture in the shot. 17-28 is also very good optically, but it wasn't versatile enough for me, so I thought that I might as well go for optical excellence with 20 and 24.

@@TheHybridShooter I can imagine your point. However, did you consider the 16-35GM for versatility? I do, but in doubt because of the price. I too have the 24GM already. I wonder if the 20mm really adds a lot to the 24GM instead of the 16-35? I'd like to travel with these lenses, but until then I mainly shoot podcasts, so the 35mm (52mm aps-c) end comes in handy at f2.8. Although I also have a 55mm zeiss and 24-105 f4 for the second camera. In the end I don't mind to pay extra if I'm going to use the lens (16-35) a lot of the times. The 20mm seems more of a 5-10% use case don't you think?
