Property tax should only be paid once upon paying for the property. The reason it is a tax that must be paid yearly separate from income is to force you into the system to where you must earn money in order to keep it. It is a generational wealth bleed; a way to keep you working and giving money back into the system rather than acquiring and keeping. This is supported by the fact that if you do not pay, you can be forced to lose the property. You are either losing wealth by paying into the system, or losing wealth by not being apart of the system.

If you can’t give a flat definition that everyone as a collective agrees upon, then toxic masculinity doesn’t exist. If I do one thing, someone may not see it as toxic. Where someone else might. If that is the case, how am I ever suppose to do anything that wouldn’t be seen as toxic. The answer is you can’t. If you ask 20 people what toxic masculinity is you are going to get different answers. The word toxic is being tied to masculinity to give masculinity a negative stigma. That is the only purpose. If toxic masculinity exists, toxic femininity also must exist. Yet rarely ever gets talked about. Man bad, woman good propaganda.

@patrickvernon4766 it's social engineering. Didn't you hear the part in the beginning where they said the school system was basically designed to create a trainable work force? You teach the kids how to fall in line and operate within what is basically a corporate structure, and hopefully they continue to operate that way their whole life. Big business wins, the government wins. Most people aren't smart enough to educate themselves out of that situation, so they think that's the only thing they can do, because that's what they were taught to do. "If I work really really hard, I can get more stuff and get ahead in life". Then they teach that to their kids.

Party was never the deciding fact. You were to vote for who aligned with your own moral compass, and ideal norms. I never had a teacher that voted party line. They voted on both sides, because they wanted balance. I'm 61, late boomer, but all my values came from my parents and the people in our community. Oh and we homeschooled our kids for 2 yrs, then we both had to go back to work, and 5 yrs later they moved to an independent study coarse that they soared through and Aced. @@OpenCarry2024but you would just get the same thugs and gangsters in govt, go out and create strong groups to go steal from others. Human history supports this. Vikings, Roman’s, Islam, etc anarchy is great idea, except entirely ignores some peoples human nature of conquest, and greed. What usually stops these elements from doing these things is simply that they can’t. That it’s too hard, and/or too much penalty. You lose most of that protection under anarchy. You have no substantial community funding. You would just be a group of poor, weaklings that would get wrecked by individuals marauders alone. Not to mention powerful groups that do nothing but conquer. We’ve been there before, use your brain. There is a reason basically every single culture and group in the world ended up forming a government. And it’s because it’s actually safer. Yes governments go rogue and tyrant and can get just as bad as before. That’s why there is an equilibrium that everyone is suppose to help keep in check. Of a balanced and reasonable government. Anarchy isn’t the equilibrium, it’s the opposite swing the other way that is just as dangerous as government tyranny

Summary: Estimated 182 million Working age people US minus 143 million government workers or on welfare payments. equals 39 million Workers in Normal non government economy. about 22% And over 10% of prime-age men in US are choosing not to work which equates to 6.8 million people.

The problems that I have noticed are mainly caused by three major factors. First I am 68 years old and grew up in the late sixties and seventies, and I "people watch". What I have seen with my own two eyes there are great differences in the way we educate our children to put it bluntly the school system today is very inadequate. The second factor is Discipline it is virtually impossible to Instill discipline in a child without having to deal with Child Protective Services. I have been paddled (three swats on the A** for really bad behavior) today if you try to instill some disciplined self control (teaching from a young age that negative behaviors have actual physical consequences). My grandmother used to say "the reason your palms are curved is so that it matches the curve on their little butts" I'm not talking a Beating but three swats with a bare hand can definitely change a child's attitude. The third MAJOR issue I see today is a disregard for basic respect of others (i.e. at least half assed manners are better than no manners at all. Being taught from a young age that a simple please, thank you will go a long way as a result the youth of today simply treat others as are beneath them. (This is how you make a Karen BTW). Ok I've said my piece and will now climb off my soapbox and put it away.

Those of us who grew up without computers and social media seem to live a different reality than those who have. Anecdotal, but in my experience, they typically have less imagination, can't deal with being alone/entertaining themselves, too much emphasis on victimhood without wanting legitimate solutions, trouble connecting interpersonally, can't look you in the eyes, and more. I really think we should rethink our technological advances and regulation or lack thereof.

1:58:02 the sad thing is that a lot of parents don’t care or don’t know how to educate their own children so they lack the framework to properly school their children. We are so deep in this education problem that those parents had a horrible education and for whatever reason they might have had they decided not to try and learn via internet or other means. So now they are unequipped to teach their own children.
@vladimirofsvalbard947720 күн бұрын
Exactly! I understand the entire conservative argument about education, but it also pretends that parents will do the right thing given more educational freedom in raising their kids. If you give parents full autonomy in their child's education; a majority of them will let their kid look at their iPad for 6 hours straight 5 days a week. Most of the anti-social problems are stemming from the home; not the classroom.

@ agreed. We saw it during Covid. Granted we are choosing to homeschool in my home, but I have the care and knowledge base to do research and I know what I can’t teach (like Spanish) so I use resources like homeschool groups to make sure they get that education. I just don’t believe that a lot of homes would care to do that sort of thing because of a variety of reasons including but not limited to a lack of time, income, or they don’t care

Hospitals decide what Healthcare is available so no competition in medical care, insurance has no group buy for small employers so it's too much for anyone to afford, raw dairy is illegal, herbal practice is illegal, utilities are monopolies for each locality, bent and dent is illegal so tons of food is thrown away that could be donated. . The schools.. complete garbage and cost outrageous! The list goes on and on for va and the regulations, taxes, and fees. It's out of control. There are exceptions but we'd be better off without them as they currently exist. @@feeseize9569 why would you drop off your child at the library for hours at a time, though? Libraries aren’t there to babysit your kids - they aren’t playpens. That would be irresponsible parenting.
