I hope you know “shining flashlights” was not the issue. It’s the bigger issue of being told to stop worshipping together. No one said they were afraid. Yep, not all churches are the same. My boys attended church with friends this past weekend. When they got home they were like “it was very structured and timed. We missed our church and the freedom of the Holy Spirit there.” My boys are teens, so to hear their ability to differentiate between a dead church and an alive one was inspiring to me. Praying all believers will find a church that is alive and life giving! It makes all the difference!

Throughout the New Testament you can see believers praying together. This verse is talking about personal prayer between you and God alone.
