Is it weird that I found this game comforting...? The change in perspective on what is already assumed leaves the imagination room to run free. It's truly a beautiful game and world that challenges history or creativity in its own way. Please continue to make games. Your way of thinking and seeing possibilities in existing belief is more of what this world needs.

Just want to say, this game is spectacular. You can tell the dev put tons of love into it. The idea that angels are actually extra-dimensional beings that distort reality, and the tall grays are followers or worshippers of them is new and unique. Bringing new life to old real life lore. Would definitely play a MMORPG in this realm of existence! You gave this video tons of love as well and it shows. (i'm from america and people originally thought the native americans were indians so i wrote indians from india as not confuse some people) i saw some photo that showed "something" that looked a lot like a feral ghoul from fallout 3/nv the one wearing brown shorts with pinkish skin (there are many variants in the games) unlike the point lookout ghouls that look like a skinny waxy pale waterlogged ghoul i was kind of young when i first saw it and didn't think that "thing" that i saw was actually a human i don't like thinking about it a lot because as it turns out it was a actual human who was sent down the "holy" river and it wasn't wearing any clothes but i couldn't tell what gender it was because of how decayed it was tldr; i saw a image of a Ganges river "floater" and they look like feral ghouls from fallout 3/nv like to a horrifically accurate degree it's no wonder why people get sick from drinking or bathing in the ganges river that and the amount of trash floating with the people in the river

Yes! Reminds me of some old school horror computer games like Myst & 11th Hour. Where everything is discovered through the environment rather than endless talking to NPCs. Also where you only get tiny pieces of the puzzle at a time. I’m only 1/4th of the way through the video…but I wish they gave a way for you to understand the Morse code in the phone calls inside the game. Especially the one saying “I’m in the mine” as I’m assuming those are possibly from his brother. Can you imagine if this was remade in Unreal engine for computer?! It could 100% be absolute nightmare fuel! To have been made entirely using Dream…it is still *extremely* creepy & complex. 10/10 for what it is!

The way i interpret the carbon monoxide scene is that the angel offered you an alternate fate, a nicety to help cope with what you saw. The end of the game shows us that every light orb we see in our journey is a human soul, so i see it as angels saving humans from the aliens

Remember how in one of the notes it said your great great grandparents had a ship crash land on their farm, and it was on fire but the flames were blue. And they acquired the island by selling it to someone who used to mine materials from it. And it was mentioned that he disappeared afterwards. Then you later traveled in time and ended up on a farm with a crashed alien ship, plus their daughter went missing, and said daughter was in a blue dress. Before that it was mentioned in multiple notes that people in different times saw a child wearing a blue dress. And when you met said child she said something about you being a grandchild of hers right before she fell into that orb, which she mentioned she was supposed to be there but you weren't "which is a bit of a paradox" she said. To make this more intriguing is how she talked as if she was aware of this entire situation and experienced it before. And now it's mentioned that you are a perfect clone, and you had to kill the real you if you wanted to stay. And you showed up in the exact same ship that was shown crashed in the flaming building. Plus you have seen said ship flying in the sky multiple times. And throughout the entire game it is mentioned how time travel and crossing dimension is involved with the problem that occurs. And no matter where you went that symbol is seen, and in the end that symbol was on a book right next to the g*n on the dresser. There is a legitimate plot for the world, but it seems more subtle, and something you would have to put together like a very elaberate puzzle. What if the real you was involved with some sort of organization that dealt with these creatures, but something went wrong and it not only created a loop, but also broke time and space, while starting a war we could not win. And so you and your brother were sent to fix the problem, or decided to fix the problem on your own, which then led into an infinite loop. And when you found Otto he said "what took you so long" as if he was expecting you to be there quicker. And it is seen in multiple places that there was blood stains which lead to where you were supposed to go, so Otto was also leading you to him with his blood and writings. So what if you were stuck in an infinite loop which stalled you long enough for the problem to get this bad. And you broke that loop by meeting the child in the blue dress, which made you a paradox, which then allowed you to finally reach Otto and do what you did. But it was too late and you instead died. And what if you not excepting that fate stopped the time loop from ever happening in the first place.

I REALLY love that there's this sort of blurred line between maybe the UFO stuff is real because you're put into the perspective of someone experiencing it first hand and interact with these journal entries from other victims, but there's also the obvious real-life implications that are put there like the mine having Hydrogen gas warnings and the Carbon Monoxide stuff. Like it's a video game so obviously the existence of aliens could be perfectly real, and they could be causing all the psychological stuff that, as the player, could be real, but there's also the unspoken fact that this could all be a REALLY good representation of the hallucinations and other effects that exposure to gas can cause on unsuspecting victims. Like around 1:00:00 he sees then talks about how "there's guys in hazmat suits alive down here", but even they could be hallucinations, because if you expect to see people in hazmat you could totally hallucinate that. I just really love that the developers made a game that's a total thriller and leaves you guessing whether there's actually something huge and alien-related going on, and it was covered up under the context of a mass-hallucination event caused by gas, or if it WAS just a mass-hallucination event caused by gas. Super awesome game!

The amount of DEDICATION in this game to LITERALLY EVERYTHING culturally relevant to aliens, supernatural, biblical, etc. is amazing by itself but then to sit through and make it through DREAMS is SUCH a feat. Absolutely blown away!

Wild just how much pop culture and ufology details are in this game. You’ve got the Shining, Phoenix lights, the tic tac, stranger things, montauk, the arc of the covenant, the ship from 2001, Lovecraft, predestined time travel and more.

This was something amazing. I played around with Dreams a little a few years ago and could not imagine that it was possible to create a game like this. True work of art and really, Sony should be showcasing this as a premier example of what their engine can be used for.

You’re so awesome for commentating on the behalf of the creator the fact that you do that is why I love your videos and your entire commentation on the whole video. Besides, the commentator is the reason why I listen to you your advice and opinion makes me want to watch gameplay just as much as it maybe cosmic.

I now realize the canary in the mine was foreshadowing your character's possible fate: canaries were once used as early detection for toxic gas like carbon monoxide. It's just another example of how well this dev crafted the story and the world. I enjoyed how nothing in this game was truly malevolent. We don't know what the motivations of the creatures are but even the most massive and scary were just there living their own lives, possibly just as freaked out as we are at the breakdown of spacetime

Damn! This developer really did their homework on the Biblical/Apocryphal lore. I’m only an hour and a half into the video, and I’ve already seen multiple Bible verses, accurate angels, and the literal Ark of the Covenant. Not to mention, that stone circle with the two pillars in it at 1:35:00 is a real place; it’s called Gobekli Tepe and it’s an actual archeological site in Turkey. Those pillars are the world’s oldest known megaliths, and nobody knows about them; talk about a deep cut. 🤯
