I wish there was a cosmic horror game, where you start out as a completely sane normal person, no trauma/drama, slowly turned insane very subtly, over the the course of the entire game. I feel like they all start with someone dealing with recent trauma, which I totally get, that's like cthulhus thing, right? But what if he dug into the mind of someone completely rational, perfect mental health, life going great, and then you hear a quiet whisper every now and again, that slowly manifest shadows, then turns into cosmic figures of sorts, then visions, etc.

This may be just me, but I really appreciate your comment about the alcohol and that everyone has a struggle and some people can't get out of it, and that hopefully they aren't hurting any of their loved ones in the process. As someone who has struggled with alcohol as a coping mechanism in the past, that hit pretty deep in a good way. I dunno why, but it just feels like a bit of the struggle has been acknowledged. Anyway, for any other folks out there who are also struggling (regardless of what your struggle may be), just know that you aren't alone and there are people thinking of you. Take one day at a time. If IGP reads this, than thank you for thinking the way you do and being the person you are. Some things worth noting: It didn't take three days to reach the church. You were abducted for three days. You were also abducted when you saw that light in the woods. That's why the guy asked "It's been three days, have you found your sister?" because you were gone for three days but the abduction created a copy without you or him realizing. That's why he talks as if you had spoken to him before, he talked to your copy who he's mistaking for you. Also at the end sequence before the teaser I'm pretty sure those people are all identical, probably all copies of you. Or, more likely, you're a copy as well. Because your "sister" was identical to you, even down to the scar, not because you're twins but because you're a copy of her. Think back to article about the abduction on the bus. There were two identical girls after the abduction. Whatever's happening now is more advanced because the copies think they're the original's sister instead of thinking they're the original. Which is seemingly what happened on the bus. Another thing is that this process seeming takes three days each time. After you were abducted three days had passed as evidenced by the crazy guy's question. It also took three days to second time. Perhaps the original (original relative to the other clones) is, for lack of a better term, reinserted after three days. Edit: Also, something I forgot to mention is that this game is clearly inspired by Roadside Picnic. A very famous (mostly in russia and Eastern Europe) Russian novel. Aliens visit earth? Check. Their visit creates a bizarre area that is eventually sealed off? Check. Said area is called the zone or something similar? *Check.* Unfortunately for igp, unlike roadside picnic the aliens never left.
