I was just putting forward the idea that humans, in spite of our apparent weakness and lack of natural defenses, have been gifted by mother nature in other, arguably more potent ways than crocs have. Nature has designed crocs to be the perfect killer, but it has designed humans to be the perfect thinker. The things we build, the things we create, the systems we develop, are all remarkable and no other species even comes close. Which is why we dominate the planet while crocs, for all their ferocity, do not.

@Ike22 How did Australia solve the EMU problem? Image result for emu vs australian army The only logical way to deal with the emus was what happened eventually. The government placed a bounty on the emus and let the farmers handle it - which they did very well. Over time, the farmers would collect a bounty on over 57,000 emus and the farms turned profitable again.

I was born and live in Darwin Australia (biggest saltwater croc population in Australia) and we as kids basically have to get brainwashed to be scared of natural water. Whenever your anywhere near water as a kid your parents are constantly “get back from the water” “there could be crocs here” “get more than three metres back or a croc can get you” and always have rangers coming in to primary school telling you the danger... as an adult, even if we leave darwin and go somewhere that crocs aren’t... we’re all terrified of natural water

Just had 3 Bears in my backyard after knocking over the trash cans in the front of the house 3 different nights (now cans are kept in the Garage). I filmed one of them walking just 15 ft in front of me. Fortunately I was standing on the deck above it. I jokingly called it and surprisingly it walked to the large tree next to the deck and I heard it scratching. It was dark and that's when I ran inside. Tomorrow is trash day so I will see if they come again! Already once I almost walked directly into the big ones path (also got on film) so it is a little freaky going outside especially when you see the large footprints in the morning. If I end up having to battle it I will let you know the answer to your question. Lol Hopefully I will never be giving you an answer!!!

Immediately remove rings, bracelets and watches. That only applies if you are bit in the arm hand etc. Tie a string around the effected area to cut of circulation to the rest of the body and call emergency services, ambulance specifically! Describe the spider that bit you to receive appropriate anti venom. Hope this helps if this ever happens.

As someone who lives in the tropics of Australia I can say that through loving near these creatures one of the only things I can argue against in this is that making lots of noise or irritation in the water has been known to drive some crocodiles away after they have attacked someone, it obviously depends on the size of the crocodile but it has been done quite a few times and is frequently used by Aboriginals. *edit* Also many larger adult crocodiles have missing limbs from fights with others, they actually have incredible resistance to bacterial infections and almost always survive unless there teeth or jaws are broken.
