Actually we do know how fast you need to go in order to make 37 years pass. You can use a time dilation calculator. Travelling at 0.9999999998815 times the speed of light, or 299792.5 km/s, for 5 hours (assuming the length of the perceived flying time for the aircraft), the time observed to pass on earth by those in the aircraft would be about 37 years.

That’s a very bad paraphrase(not quote) of what he actually said and meant. It’s more about advanced science, looking like magic, to those who don’t understand it. For example: the “disappearing” allied planes in the WW2 battle for the Atlantic, from the German U-Boat crew’s perspective. When in reality the Allies were just fitting lights to their submarine-hunting aircraft, so they would blend visually into the day or night sky at will.

I celebrated my birthday twice in one year once. I had a flight from korea to new york. I celebrated my first birthday in the plane on august 11 before the plane passed the international date line and when I arrived in new york, it was the 10th of august at around 2200H nyc time. The only “possible” way that this could happen is if the plane could go high enough and fast enough to use the earths upper atmosphere as a gravitational slingshot. That’s basically the only possible way to do that, any other way involves go in to orbit or going through the solar system and using all the moons and planets gravity to slingshot you at 10s of 1,000s of mph but this way doesn’t really seem legit because one, that spacecraft will never get back to earth, and two it doesn’t have earths gravitational field but if it did it wouldn’t be time travel.

Next time I suspect you might do a video about that one time a flying saucer landed near a remote village in the Soviet Union during the 1980s. Some alien visitors got out of the ship and walked around for a bit. Local villagers watched the spectacle with fear in their hearts. Then the flying saucer took off again. It was printed in a small section all major newspapers including ours so it must have really happened.
