Adelina’s Sister is also the legendary stalker known as The White Lady. Adelina poisoned her sister to steal the spotlight, it is possible that Adelina is not Snow White but perhaps her sister. Adelina is the evil queen who upon learning that her sister was he fairest of them all, decided to poison her in jealousy. The Apple is a form of poetic Justice because of what Adelina did to her sister, the White Lady, Snow White.

100% and the Swamp Monster is a direct nod to the swamp creatures from various folklore like the Rougarou(Louisiana), the Moss Man and Skunk Ape(Florida). Or even the Babau in Italian folklore. Also the "Swamp/Man Thing" in comics. Not a "fairytale" for some but Simon Manus is also a direct link to the presumed "father" of Gnosticism "Simon Magus" (known mainly as Simon the Zealot) from the Bible. With the Sefirot surrounding the stage and his connection to God, it makes sense. Simon Manus in boss form could also be huge nods to the Solomon Grundy nursery rhyme and the DC comic character. Lastly, Sophia is a being in Gnosticism. Sophia in Greek means "wisdom" and is an "aeon" (basically a supernatural being like an angel, which aligns perfectly in game), come to think of it, theres a lot of occult references ingame

when your heart starts to pound for the first time, Carlo will start grunting and shouting when attacking and most of the spring noises will be gone as well as his jerking will be much less than before. also, when he dies, he will be starting to try getting up to fight on or moan from the pain he endures as opposed to just flopping to the ground before he gained humanity.

I'd love to see a Peter Pan game that blends the gameplay of Souls games, Devil May Cry, and Kingdom Hearts as a great experience. Other fairy tales developers could use are Aladdin, Wizard of Oz, Dorian Gray, Hansel and Gretel, Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Bean Stalk, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, and The Happy Prince.

I think I found yet another fairytale easter egg, IMO the nun Cecile and the Archbishop are based on the Princess and the Frog, that's why both of them turn creatures with frog like features, the Archbishop has frog legs and a frog tongue, and the nun Cecile turns into a frog like creature if you don't get her the Archbishop Mark before you defeat the Archbishop. Also while Victor is a clear reference to Victor Frankenstein he can also be considered a reference to Bane from Batman who gets injected with a fluid to enhance his strength (which Victor does in his phase 2), there are in fact several Batman easter eggs in the game, Venigni origin story is like Batman's (and he has a loyal butler), Arlecchino is a lot like a cross between the Joker and the Riddler, and there are Harlequin enemies in the game (the clown enemies that explode, a possible reference Harley Quinn), there is clearly a huge fan of Batman on the team of devs at Round8.

@elliottwright2763 I don't think so, they were quite explicit that most of the story and sidequests were inspired by fairytales, there are a ton of obvious references to all kinds of well-known stories eventhough they aren't mentioned in name, Beauty & The Beast, Snow White, etc.

The biggest reason I don’t think that Krat is Gepetto’s toy box is because in the cannon ending (Rise of P), his son does come back (Puppet becomes human) but his most likely desire would be as he states, a world without terror against Carlo. Instead, he purposely set up the puppet frenzy in order to strengthen the Clever One’s heart and then take it to put into the Nameless Puppet (which is made partially from Carlo’s dead body). It was all an elaborate plan in a world that wasn’t set up for him but his genius and influence makes it possible until the clever one does not conform. Now Dorothy is a whole different can of worms!😂 For real though, I’ve been loving your videos!

I think Adelina dies because of the explosion that releases Romeo from inside the King of Puppets. And that is why later the White Lady blames you for killing her sister.

Probably because the Tin Man and Scarecrow references were a bit of a stretch and probably not correct. The Beauty and the Best one was also a bit of a stretch. Some of these theories seemed good, like the Mad Hatter and Snow White, but others seemed silly.

My theory on the possible identity of the broken puppet: *Spoilers Ahead* Now maybe the Broken Puppet that Pinocchio is explaining the various emotions he’s experiencing could possibly be “Tin Man” since he isn’t specifically named as such. There were many parallels drawn between The Broken Puppet and Tin Man. For example when P discusses love and if it’s possible puppets and humans could love each other. Also when P emotes what anger is and TBP realizes that feeling anger because someone was violent or hurt the people you love and care about and want to stand up for could also be bravery. Not to mention how TBP is unable to physically move because he is fallen on the ground and unable to move along the wall of the cave next to the Barren Swamp Stargazer. I guess we won’t really know unless the devs decide to go forward with the Dorothy /Wizard of Oz IP based of the secret ending of the game.

While I don’t agree on the whole “Geppetto wished so hard he ended up creating Krat as a means to revive his son” angle you were proposing. I do agree that Geppetto wishing hard enough for it did allow for things to fall into place that his wish could be granted. Pinocchio DOES have Carlo’s Ergo inside him and thus, possesses Caro’s dormant memories, and fate did make it so that everything would play out in a way where Pinocchio would become a real boy and give Geppetto a son whether that be through Pinocchio evolving into a real boy through his experiences and growth and Geppetto turning him into a “real boy”. Some of things just can’t be coincidence as I don’t think it’s explained how people are able to tell who’s Ergo is what and how Geppetto would be able to acquire Carlo’s Ergo and implant it into Pinocchio. Also I don’t know where you got that the adventures of Pinocchio was Carlo’s favorite story. I’m pretty sure it’s Geppetto’s since it would serve as inspiration for him to create the puppets

Would you please talk about how Geppetto and Manus are 2 sides of the same coin. Time travel is already confirmed so them being the same person or at least related is super obvious. Just look at their models. Both have blue eys and same style beard. Geppettos right eyes is covered while the left is exposed while Manus is the opposite with his left eye having a scar. Geppetto tells Carlo not to lie and Manus also hates lieing. Geppetto had a son Manus had a daughter. There are more Suttle hints but I believe they are the same person but from different dimensions.
