Did she say "pacifying South America" was what the US was doing in the 1970s? Really?

@@woo1818 yes. The legitimate left wing democracies in south america were destroyed. For americans, thats "pacified": No opposing views to the american ideology or american control. The americans wrecked south america but they stopped all countries in south america being a potential challenger to the USA.

Exactly so. Their backyard is so homogenous because of military conquest and subjection over hundreds of years.

You know Russia owns land that for hundreds of years used to be Chinese. Maybe now is the time to take that back? I've seen you've already redrawn the map. It was china's back yard after all

It’s not hard to google people. Firstly, china roughly represents 20% of worlds population, dwarfing the USA’s 4%. Secondly, China ranks 3rd in terms of land mass. It’s a little above USA and below Canada and Russia (who both of whom have large tracks of unpopulated and unpopulable land). Thirdly, China is trying to expand, see Tibet and Taiwan.
@haoyangsun327815 күн бұрын
I wouldn't day China really wants to expand. At most it expands to places where historically had strong bond with China. Its very hard for China to expand into non-chinese speaking region. I think China just want to trasfer the hate within the country to outside so it doesn't collapse within.

Depends on how you look at it, the Latin American economy is tied very closely to the North American economy and their histories share a lot of similarities and dependencies, the situation of migration is a critical mess, but, is it really an invasion or an economic calamity within the Empire? I’m not promoting this as a more representative view of the situation, just putting it out there as a slightly different one.
