With the exception of Raheem DeVaughn, love music now just doesn't hold a candle to those of the 60s/70s and maybe a lil 80s. But, I will check out those you've suggested.

@@Romaine626 I used to listen to the Intruders when I was in High School with my best friend while we were doing are homework. He was close to my family. He is now locked up for life. Later on in life he was hanging out with certain gang and did a drive by and killed someone. My father even wrote a letter to the judge saying that he was a great kid and great athlete in school before his sentencing. I miss him, it just shows how life can throw a curve ball.

In the 60's and the 70's had the best groups singing Ballads. My mother loved this song and now she is in Heaven. She passed on December 22, 2006, of bone cancer. My father was devastated, they just celebrated their 50th anniversary. I got them a room at Hyatt Regency in Palm Springs in the summer of 2006. I cry when I hear this song.

I went to a festival to meet a young lady I was probably 17 years old. And she introduced me to her mother who was beautiful with the prettiest smile. She said the next group up would be the Philadelphia Intruders and that I should stay and watch the show with her. I did and it was truly an honor to see these brothers perform live in person. The STONE SOUL FESTIVAL IN SPRINGFIELD MASS. That was a great show that girls mom was so cool it was a completely different experience than hanging with women my own age. I’m very grateful Mrs HENRY asked me to stay and listen to the music because I’ve been listening to it ever since.

I so agree. I grew up my teenage years on their music. A song for every stage of my teenage years of the 60s, up into my young adult years of the 70's. I've seen them perform only once when they came to my hometown Norfolk,VA. around 1968/69. Fantastic show. Love Lil Sonny.
