27:13 Gaming and Bennett function pretty differently! Bennett's burst works for other characters, functioning as a mix of a healer and an atk buffer for other characters, while Gaming's healing only works on himself, healing a set amount of hp to compensate for the hp lost when using his skill. Gaming himself is solely an on-field damage dealer like Razor, with Gaming's burst allowing him to use his skill (where the majority of his damage comes from) much more frequently. I'm sure you figure things out more in the video, but I just wanted to answer the question you had at the moment. (But feel free to ask me if you have any more questions about his kit specifically, I've tested him out a lot).

You don't really need to worry about whether a team is "good" or "makes sense" or whatever. Sure, sometimes, you'll have to consider what elements you need to bring to a fight, but for the most part - any team you want to make is a viable one! I also wanted to explain the questing a bit, even tho you probably know this info already - In Genshin, there are 4 types of quests: -- Archon Quests - tell the main story of the Traveler and Paimon, as they travel the world of Teyvat in search of the Traveler's missing twin sibling by visiting all of The Seven Archons. They are voiced. -- Story Quests - consist primarily of chapters related to the background and personalities of each playable character or alternatively Event Quest lines. They are voiced. The quest you did in this episode is considered Diluc's Story Quest. In the future you will need to specifically unlock and start these quests from the quest menu using Story Keys (which you get by playing through the game and completing commissions), but the first few Story Quests are unlocked automatically for you. (There are also Hangout Events, which are a kind of type themselves. Story Quests are for 5-star characters, and Hangout Events are for 4-star characters. Just FYI, currently the only character you have that is considered a 5-star is the Traveler, Wander. The rest of the characters you have are 4-star.) -- World Quests - unlocked by speaking to NPCs or exploring throughout Teyvat. They give insight into the various locations and stories of the world. They are usually unvoiced. -- Commissions - daily quests players can complete for rewards, but some have a unique story tied to them and have specific requirements. They are unvoiced. Some commissions are repeatable (like Timmie's one with feeding ducks), and others tell a continues story every time you complete it. But even the repeatable ones can have different outcomes and hidden achievements to them :) Sorry for the rant! Loving the series and the channel btw! :D

27:09 In general, Bennett is considered "better" in terms of meta because of his versatility as a support character, Bennett not only generates alot of energy for ultimates, but he also heals and buffs attack for the rest of your team! Gaming is a main DPS character, so their roles are not really comparable, Gaming is the newest 4 star added into the game so I don't really know much about him, i do know however that his animations and attack style are awesome! Oh and btw, they both have synergy in a team since having 2 pyro characters gives you an elemental ressonance bonus, and Gaming would benefit alot from Bennett's buffs :)

Calvin! I was excited to see your next playthrough! World Quests are triggered by you entering the area or interacting with a common character. They dont have to be cleared immediately bc they may be in areas you havent accessed completely. They are great for the rewards and filling days when you want something extra to do. They dont expire. Dragonspine help: bring more pyro characters. You can warm up at teleporters, statues of the seven, light boxes you interact with, and lighting fires in torches or fires. They warm much faster than the scarlet rocks. The rocks are more for breaking the ice with the swirl marks. Remember, Bennett’s burst will heal your team by standing on his fire circle.

nb: teleports vanish from the map if you're zoomed out too far. .. ah! .. you found it! ps: the enemies get more difficult as the World Level increases. But, every other (with one exception) World Level increase requires you to complete an assension domain. So at those points the World Level wont increase until you want it to. Assension domains to ascend at: WL1 to 2, WL3 to 4, WL5 to 6, WL6 to 7. World Level 8 is maximum World Level with Enemy level up to L98. Adventure Ranks have a correspendence with World Level. Eg AR25 at WL1, AR35 at WL3, etc. (hope this makes sense) pps: Katherine has a speech impediment. What she's actually trying to say is: Add Extra Applesauce.

I look forward to sticking around! i thought i’d contribute with a liyue pronunciation guide, as a chinese individual :] if this has been done already, i think i haven’t scrolled enough, but oh well. don’t worry if you can’t nail this- the english speaking community has ‘commonly accepted’ ways to pronounce these words, and it’s okay if you use those. liyue (璃月) is pronounced as lee-yü (a sound made by the ‘ee’ sound and ‘u’ or ‘o’ shape.) in the name qingce(轻策) village, the letter ‘q’ is pronounced with a ‘ch’ sound, and the ‘ce’ pronounced as the beginning end of the ‘tsk’ and the ‘uh’ sound together. romanized “properly”, it would be ‘ching-tsuh’ or similar. i am not an expert, but i do speak the language. take this with a grain of salt, and note that english and chinese are vastly different languages who don’t play well when translated most of the time.

Been looking forward to this new gameplay! Scrolled forward and saw that you got dori and gaming (pronounced guh-ming as he is inspired by cantonese culture) the newest 4*! Dori is a healer who also helps regenerate energy, she comes in really clutch in coop because her healing burst heals all active characters around her lamp. Gaming is a main dps predominantly played around his plunge attacks and self harm/heal mechanic! Hope you enjoy them all! One thing I'd recommend since you know have so many great characters is start off lvling just a select few (4+) past lvl 50 instead of all of them. The main reason is once you hit a certain point in the game the amount of resources needed to lvl and upgrade characters/gear increases exponentially and you'll find you're going to need to grind a lot to farm enough gold and resources to keep up. But thats just my experience, in the end it's all up to how you want to play! One tip to get easy resources though, dont forget to check your battlepass! Its the second icon on the top right, and I think it's the top left on the scroll wheel? (not sure I don't play console) 😂 Battle pass is essentially a list of daily/weekly/monthly missions to complete which goes towards leveling up the BP. You are pretty much completing all the BP daily missions anyways through your regular gameplay (login, do commissions etc) so it'll be a waste for the BP rewards to go unclaimed, they reset daily and rewards include lvl up materials, gold, and fates (wishes), and really help with the resource management part of genshin mid game

Have you ever play the character trial before?? You can try the characters on the current banner and get primogems too. Also …I suggested you watch “ character collected miscellany” of the characters you have to know how to play them ( though some contained little spoilers for new players so I suggested watch some gameplay on youtube instead) You definitely NOT SUPPOSED TO SWITCH GAMING OUT after using his burst. Like u’ve read , after using his burst he’ll summon man chai out when using skill then comeback and reset his skill cooldown so u can SPAM his skill during his burst state. Lots of character’s burst are for ON-FIELD purpose not just an instant damage that you can switch them out after using it so beware of that.

i'm not sure if anyone has told you this since i'm still catching up on the series, but you can level up characters from any region early game bc the game has waypoints that have automatically opened in each region! (with the exception of inazuma, for story reasons, so characters like sayu and sara won't have their proper materials yet!) for example most of gaming's materials are in liyue, which you're heading to next so you don't have to worry about, but his boss is in fontaine - however, fontaine has the most open waypoints so it's easy to travel there without having to wait until late game! you won't get spoiled for the main story by heading to a few areas earlier, but if you're someone who prefers to unlock regions as you go then that's okay too! just wanted to let you know :)

An always good tip is to gather everything you come across in your adventure. You might dont know where to use it but you will find EVERYTHING you get is something you can use later. Be it leveling a character, a weapon, an artifact, quest or cooking. Like I got 400 sweet flowers which I exchange some for an Event for Primogems Also always use a character skill when you need it. They cooldown even when not in battle. barbara skill can be use when your exploring the area to heal characters you have. And after 10+ seconds she can cast heal again. Just cast her skill and switch to the character you wanted to heal. Also when you check the map on your upper left of your screen when you are exploring you sometime see a star. Those are Anemoculous and you should collect them and offer them to the statues. The more you offer the more level the statues have and the more stamina you will have Love your genshin playthrough videos btw keep it up

Or you can even open chests to complete them, you can check and claim your progress from the adventurer's handbook icon (between your bag and character icons if i remember correctly). Regarding combat, a bit of a unsolicited advice tbh but I thought you might find it helpful! Since you do love sayu, a great way to user her in this team is once you use bennett's skills, you can use sayu's hold skills and apply pyro/fire on everyone around and then overload them with razor! she is a really good fit in this team you have some super solid characters there!

hey Calvin, there's a neat trick to save up stamina while swimming. it's known to most in the community so i thought I'd let you in on the trick. while in water, you need to hold the sprint/fast swim button, and then while holding that, tap the movement key /joystick to move forward. what's important is to look out for how fast you do it. a good hand rule is to see when the upper arm of the character is hitting the water, and the tap the input again. it saves a lot of stamina compared to just sprinting through the whole time

I don’t know if anyone has told you this or if it’s unlocked at a later adventure rank, but they recently added a system where things such as quests, opening chests, and collecting oculi contribute towards your dailies for the day. You can collect the rewards in your adventure handbook and it counts towards your 4 daily quests for the day. So you might not even need to do daily quests. That said there are certain daily quests you want to do that advance a little story line. Things like curing that girl near the fountain of her sickness. But the copy paste ones like fighting hilichurls are completely skippable.

Soon there will be an increase in enemy levels so I would recommend levelling up some artefacts (doesn’t matter about their stats) to help boost hp attack and some other stats. Especially in Dragonspine so you’ll have some extra health but great videos as usual ❤

The issue with the mistflowers and you almost despairing over missing one is that they are really everywhere in the world by the water, and so far you always just ran past them, paying them no mind. I was already wondering when you will realize that you need to apply fire to them, or water to the fire ones (they exist too), and that you then would be able to harvest them. You should also try to apply wind to dandelions. ;) All this stuff will be of good use later after all.

So, about 23:01 The quest got its “conclusion” in a limited-time event two years ago. If you’re planning to watch playthroughs of limited events SPOILERS AHEAD: Joel’s dad indeed returned from the mountain, but with amnesia. The community suspects that the man in question MIGHT not actually be Joel’s dad, but another character entirely, but there’s no confirmation in the game so far.

IDK... I think finishing the "acorn" 🤓 quests through Act 1 first might be a good idea. The snowy mountain "dragonspine" was released after all that and is way harder content... Plus finishing that will open up all kinds of other gameplay options... talent/weapon domains, Fishing/teapot etc. there's enough side content after that to last months

I'd get a bit careful with maintaining two teams at the very beginning. The content will get tougher soon and you will need more resources to keep them all strong enough. Eventually you'll be able to properly build everyone you like, but it's wiser to focus on one composition first (and switch one member here or there if you pull someone more desirable). :) Congrats for your pulls!

Something to watch out for when you're playing a quest that isn't voice-acted: Sometimes more dialogue plays in the subtitles, just like it sometimes did in the main quests, just without voiceover. It happened at 18:16 for example. One of the aspects of this game I don't like as much, because it's easy to miss and sometimes there's just not enough time to notice and read it fully, which is a shame because it provides context without which the next step of the quest can be a little confusing. Might be a little easier to catch when you're aware that it's a thing though.

Congratulations on picking up a Gaming. He's great! I just burned 180 saved wishes on this banner to get Xianyun and got him to constellation five (I'll get his C6 this patch guaranteed) I also got Faruzan to c6 as well! Gaming will work good with Barbara actually - get them wet with her normal attack and then switch to him and do his pyro skill (you can also do this with Bennett as well, but Gamings plunge multipliers are great)

Welp, you did say you like heavy weapons! lol Congrats on getting Gaming and Dori! Gaming in particular is really satisfying to play (at least for me). His Ultimate allows him to spam his skill raining down pain on your enemies. Your Electro characters (like Dori or Lisa) will become much stronger once you get a Dendro character to pair them with.
