Love your videos mate and you have done a bloody good job with that as you usually do. Personally I don't like those I reckon they are V8 Commodores with electric windows. Very neat job guys. Difficult to tell if this is a Statesman or a Caprice. I think some debadging has occurred. Seems there was a Holden bonnet badge and crest where that patchwork was above the grille. Maybe the grille should have had a brand badge too. Leather interior points to a Caprice but the boot only has "Statesman" which could be part of the replacement bootlid. Cheers

i scored a mint 80,000km v6 96 statesman that never went 80 km from its home in it time with the old lady who owned it , and paid 2,000 , sold it 3 years later for 5,500 , its paint work was absolutely 100% and interior too , had original wool seat covers front and back

Great job I've just bought 1 in the beloved maroon with similar issues but as time goes on I'm finding dirty muddy water residue in spots that seem extremely weird I'm getting the impression that in may have been in flood water at some point.

Usually 600, which you can paint straight over mate Only need to prime if you are painting over any repairs or base coat… usually you’ll need to prime, colour, clear
