I thought estrogen was just estrogen. Never knew there were different types of estrogens and that there was good and bad and what they do. For a short video, you covered it so well. As a woman, thank you for covering this Doc! So knowledgeable!

This supplement won't interact with Levo. ANYTIME --- your stomach is empty ---this is when you take it. 60 minutes after eating or 60 minutes before eating. If you get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom ---take this then.

Does the Mirena IUD effect a woman’s hormone cycle? And if so, how? I’ve heard that the hormonal IUD can sometimes prevent ovulation in some women, and I would like to know more about this topic from someone who not a traditional doctor.

Mirena will change your menstrual cycle and eventually make your periods much lighter. However, in the first three months of use, many women experience unpredictable bleeding, and about 20 per cent have prolonged periods that last more than eight days. www.womenshealthmatters.ca/health-centres/sexual-health/birth-control/mirena/#:~:text=Changes%20to%20your%20menstrual%20cycle,last%20more%20than%20eight%20days.

I'd like your thoughts on some anti-aging supplements for seniors (I'm a 75 yr old Veteran,, had 2 heart attacks, last 7/18, sleep apnea on a CPAP machine, a 5.2 aneurism on my ascending aoeta, neuropathy in my left foot and gout in my right, and have antiphisolipid syndrome and an inactive thyroid - 0.125 mcg Levothyroxine), gall bladder removal in 2015 and 2 hernia meshes also in 2015. B.P. close to normal regularly with premature ventricular beats (bigeminy) usually between 40 - 60 detectible. NOW... I take Nicotinamide Ribosome (with Quercitin & Resveratrol), lNattokinase, Serrapeptase, Pqq, NAC, Olive Leaf Extract, Adaptogens, E Tocopherols AND Toctrienols, 500 mg of C, Pomegranate extract, Nitric Oxide, Zinc, Reishi/75% Cocoa powder, Coq10, D3, K3, Omega 3's, R-Lipoic Acid, Bile Salts, Digestive Enzymes, & Probiotics, Garlic and Curcumin supplements all close to daily! (Sometimes I even eat food! :): eggs, Greek yogurt with fat, meat, chicken, fish (Salmon & Sardines), peanut butter,, honey and a lot of black tea (Pu'er), nuts, occasional grapes, bananas, papaya, mango, watermelon... vegetables: only carrots and broccoli. On a relaxed low-carb, low-sugar diet with more protein and fat. I'm also doing I. F. for the last 6 months (18/6), losing slowly but with adding ox bile in the last week lost 5lbs. already, BMI 31.50. I walk 2 plus mi. 4 to 5 times a week and do isometric. I FEEL GREAT! So, what next: I don't see my Cardiologist 'til 2/23/22. I know what I'm taking may be "overkill", but with a fatty liver, a 20 yr poor kidney gfr and NOW a better understanding of HOW all the "breakdowns" in my systems are so inter-connected, I'm trying to reach some kind of homeostasis. YOUR THOUGHTS? Thanks, Aloha
