I love that your songs aren't mindless rhymes. Each one tells a story, and that's so hard to find. I absolutely love you guys and all of your music!

I feel the same about songs in general! The best songs are meant to tell a story. Preferably one's that can also be told around a campfire!

Absolutely slapping shanty. This is definitely a boast song! Can envision some limey sitting at the pub boasting about beating 10 enemy ships.

I heard this song for the fist time at work. When I started listening to the lyrics I stopped what I was doing for a moment before doubling my pace to the beat. Great song.

Still one of my favorites since I heard it on cassette tape in the early years! I'm so thankful that this song stayed in your roster beyond the rotation of members.

I know you have done a song about "pirates" from different times and about their names but have you ever done any about the ships that they sailed like queen Anne's revenge or other famous ships?

Is this a remaster? Ive had the other version in a playlist for awhile so just curious. Btw it takes top spot on that list, awesome song!
@TheJollyRogers2 жыл бұрын
Not a remaster, but a re-recording (assuming you're talking about the version on our Pirates' Gold album). The band member who originally sang that song left the group a while back and his replacement took it over. We re-recorded the song so it reflected the way we're currently performing it. Great to hear you're enjoying it!
