Why are all female comedians so bitter and angry. She seems pretty enough. What's her deal. If I wanted to hear a woman whinge over nothing I'd go talk to my mother in law. Sigh. No offense to the ladies, but some of you really have never taken the "basic manners and social interactions" exam in your development. At all. Even the angirest most violent man will instinctively know that being a sourpuss is not what anybody wants to see.

I worked in Hollywood for 7 years in the 90's (I was no one in particular). The more famous the person, the more automatically they receive that respect, that regard, the attention, so the less hung up they are about it. Some of them are more naturally chill than others about it, but if you wanted a workable rule that described them as a culture, the "inverse respect/demand for respect" rule would work.

I feel like he has a real thirst for life - like someone who's actually high on life - and he probably knows it overwhelms people, so he tries to be less into things than he is, and it might come off as disingenuous to some people. But whenever she gets into a social environment such as a panel show or an interview she just transforms into this incredibly witty and funny person. She is amazing! If I was ever asked "If you could invite anybody in in the world to a dinner party..." question she would be the first person to pop into my mind. Absolutely incredible talent and love her to bits. Put her into the right environment and she will flourish. I hope she will grace our screens for years to come. Phillip.

"I tried watching Aisling doing stand-up and I don't find her funny. But whenever she gets into a social environment such as a panel show or an interview she just transforms into this incredibly witty and funny person." Absolutely agree. There are quite a few people like that. Mel Brooks is another. His film appearances are OTT and basically unfunny. But hilarious and an absolute joy to listen to in conversation.

In another dimension I might be annoyed that a 9-minute video only had about 7 seconds of what the title describes, but here in the real world I could listen to Aisling Bea forever. Having lived in Ireland for years I am always comforted by how Irish she is - sounds stupid but her banter abilities are off the charts. Absolutely the type of person you’d have a pint (or several) with. Love that she’s not intimidated by John Malkovich, at least doesn’t appear so.

I'm kinda in love with John Malkovich for years since ' dangerous liaisons! Dangerous he has everything except much hair! That dominance in almost every role he plays! His articulation says he's a great stage actor, he does theater even better than films! He lives for years in France and Jonny Depp is one of his best friends who lived there too a long time and John told in the late 90s how cool it was there in France and they made tons of theater shows. Such a shame I never could see any of their productions live. I know every film of John. Some films he played in weren't always great films but his acting a 1000 % always! Intelligent man! I also like him when he's not playing a role. Great guy and always attractive!
