4:30:42 HOLY SHIT, I just realised this part of the mission came early to me because I choose different quest on the war map, so there was one warrior protecting the survivors but since john took a different path the guy just died because we were late. the guy even mentioned "if you were any later I would be a dead man" or something. holy shit thats good details hoyo really made this quest well. i like the details and how the war map part is not just linear but choices and those choices affecting the situation somehow. edit - also the survivors took up arms and made it to the stadium with the warrior guy. we meet em later and yeah they were safe very cool detail I love this specific detail ngl. now i want to see all possible things that happened during this 4:41:08 damn even this part too the children of echos had more people surviving and a big saurian too.

Really, players have made fun of Hoyo for the lack of "matter" in the choice for years, but I believe in that one single phase, they made up and even more. @@Raudentimo, Inazuma AQ war was on a much lower scale with threats not as prevalent as the abyss which is cruel and unforgiving, even killing the poor saurians and Toto, going after humans, regardless of whether they are man, woman, elderly, or child, plus the abyss also affected the environment itself, with abyss nodes, tumors, and the seeping cracks of abyss energy through the ground. I do think Inazuma AQ should use the same gameplay format Natlan Act IV used with different missions at different points on the map where choices of which point you tackle first matters and affects the outcome. I really liked that RTS-style format that should have definitely been employed in Inazuma's AQ. Truly, Hoyo is evolving in even the methods which they tell the story.

I was friggin crying the whole last parts of this quest. It was so desperate. And Paimon was crying and I wanted to save everyone! But our actions had weight. We could save some but not everyone. It reminds our Traveler that despite being a descender capable of many things, in an actual War, we really cannot do everything on our own. We had to have help. I think in the end, that will also be the case. We will NEED everyone we have ever met to assist us in our goal. RIP to the fallen NPCs. I still wished we (my Lumine and myself as her pilot) could have done more during this quest. 😭

The Crimson Moon Dynsasty was right! My guess is that the balemoon is the corpse of one of the moon sisters. Likely the broken moon in the sky we saw during this archon quest. And somehow whatever remains of its consciousness is powering up Arlecchino, who already “burned her fate” somehow.

I'm sure you already know this by either the comments or chat, but if not, then I'm gonna say it. During the invasion of Act IV of the Archon Quest, your choices matter in this war, and I also saw another message on Bran's chat, saying that pausing to the map won't freeze the game, the faster you go rescue those people and fight back against the Abyss, the less deaths will happen. BUT! If you were to go to the Children of Echoes attack earlier before the Abyssal hole in the sky appeared and you come back to it later on, you'll get different outcomes. 1. If you were to help them out earlier: All of the people will survive. 2. If you didn't help them out earlier: Everybody except 3 people died. Your choices matter a LOT during this part, and I would complete any optional objectives they give me, just to lower the death count, even if it's a little bit. Another example of your choices mattering is the option to go even to the north side or the south side. 1. If you helped the north side first: Everybody is already dead, except a mother and her child, and they live. But if you were to go to the south side after helping the north one, everybody else died, except a baby Saurian, who witnessed everyone dying and is the lone survivor. 2. If you helped the south side first: All of the saurians except the baby will die, but 3 people will survive along with the baby. But if you go to the north one after saving the south one, everybody, including the mother and her child...Died. No survivors.

Correction about "the Raiden slash", Ei did all that while not being an Archon, and not having the Gnosis, the Archon was still Makoto, her sister. And even more imprenssive, Ei did that with her polearms, the engulfing lightning, not the Musuo Ishin from her sister. Meaning, if she were to redo the same now it could potentially be even more destructive. And if she were to use ( at least if she still had it on her) the power of the Electro Gnosis, the slash would be probably something that would likely shake the balance of the entire ecosystem over Inazuma and most likely totaly erase a few islands😂

The war was exhausting that it felt so much like it was real because of the never ending battle. For the past 4 yrs ever since we began playing this game, we've only heard and read things about what happened during the cataclysm, and now, we actually got to experience the invasion. When we first heard of Natlan being the nation of war, I thought that it was just war between tribes. Who would have thought that it was an actual war against abyss invasion.

Now imagine this invasion + 7 times bigger Venti and dvalin were dealing with durin The knights mostlikely were trying their best to defend the borders Zhongli was sent to khaenriah The purple yaksha was in the chasm fighting alongside solddiers Whole of inazuma was pitch dark everywhere fighting Makoto was sent to khaenriah Ei was clearing out monsters Everyone was fighting you can even find the old place where people used to live on narukami Ei went after makoto later on Her white fox friend sacrificed herself while ei went after her sister For sumeru Everything got poluted and the aranara were protecting everywhere Rukhadevata stayed to protect the irminsull tree while also asisting egeria Egeria sacrificed herself to seal the gateway so they could stop the abyss monsters from pouring out from the desert Natlan was on a whole scale war with capitano escaping khaenriah and fighting for natlan Sneznaya still dont know how bad was it there but since tsaritsa has changed somehow acording to venti It means it mustve been really bad Khaenriah was destroyed and dogwalked So imagine we get another war on that scale across the whole map and our choises matter again but this time the choises lead to any playable character dying 😅

The Shade of Death doesn't seem to be the same as the unknown god. I think the unknown god is the Shade of Void, given the similarities between her and the herrscher of the Void from hi3. So far we've learned about about all four shades (though the unknown god doesn't seem to have much impact on Teyvat beyond what happened to Khaenri'ah and the traveler's fate). Egeria was created by the Shade of Life, the Night Kingdom was created on the orders from the Shade of Death, the Shade of Time Istaroth helped create the Thunder Sakura, keeping the Leylines in Inazuma in check and was worshipped by both the people of Dragonspine and Enkanomiya (perhaps she's the source of erosion since that happens over an extended period of time?). It was curious to learn how even the Shades don't have the ultimate authority over Teyvat, which leads me to believe that the Primordial One is still very much intact and pulling the threads. I guess whenever they speak of the Heavenly Principles, they are solely referring to the Primordial One, and not Celestia on a whole... (Which makes it even wilder that this powerful being is asleep and is slowly waking up-)

This entire reveal about shade of death raises so many question . I was really wondering what did it mean when lordo f the night said that shade of death overstepped their authority when they lended their power to xbalanque , i assumed that shades were just part of primordial one who split himself in 5 and all of them being part of one being , but this would mean that primordial one is still above , i mean i knew he would always be the head but that he wouldnt treat his shades as something below him , that made me think if its possible that second who cames took over and enslaved primordial one and its shades but that would clash with lord of the night still talking about primordial one . That now makes 2 out of 4 shades that helped humanity because i wouldnt count god of life as good becuase egeria was created with intention to serve as new heart of primordial sea to prevent hydro sovereign from being reborn

@@generaltoszur1036 I agree! I, too, thought the shades were fragments of the Primordial One, but now, it seems that their titles as emissaries makes more sense. It looks like the shades are essentially the "shadows" of Phanes, or in other words, his elite servants who answer directly to him, while the Seven are below them (it would go The Seven > The Shades > The Primordial One). What's more, it seems that they don't have nearly as much freedom to exercise their powers beyond their orders from the Primordial One (not like how the Harbingers can do their own thing). We don't know if Istaroth faced any punishment for helping humanity, nor the extent of Ronova's punishment for lending her power to Xbalanque, but it seems like the Shades can't act unless given an order to them, so it seems highly likely that the Unknown God/Asmoday was actually acting on the orders of the Primordial One when she separated the Traveler from their Sibling, which also means the Primordial One is aware of our existence. Also, since the Heavenly Principles are asleep right now, we can also assume that for some reason or another, the Primordial One isn't caught up to all the recent events in Teyvat, but will awakened soon (which really doesn't bode well for the Archons who gave up their Gnoses and betrayed Celestia's orders, as well as Fontaine for destroying the Hydro Throne and restoring the authority of Hydro to one of the Ancient Dragon Sovereigns). I'm really not looking forward to seeing how drastic the consequences for all our actions in Teyvat will be, especially seeing how dark the story is becoming (what with Fontaine setting a darker tone for the story onwards, and Natlan taking that several steps forward!).

I was so excited for this archon quest. I literally finished the whole thing after 5 hours of it's released....I stayed up all night to do that quest. It was so much better then 5.0. Though I still LOVE 5.0 just 5.1 had SO much too it in the fighting aspect. As well as SO MUCH CAPITANOOOO ❤❤❤
