He knows what he's talking about. So refreshing to find a real expert in an age where anyone with a camera tries to set themselves up as an "influencer.".

Wow thank you - I was at my wit’s end with a splattering faucet & about to follow a bemused plumber’s suggestion of replacing my sink & tap altogether. Now I will give this a try 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Wow I am so happy I found your website. I use to watch you on HGTV many many years ago and wondered how to get your program as I always found your advice helpful. Btw I have a Grohe kitchen faucet and sadly they do not have the option to add an aerator. Do you have any other advice for me to stop the faucet from splashing.

I had a low arc pull out faucet that was great in my shallow sink but we got a high arc pull out and water sprays everywhere! I’m constantly wiping the counter backsplash and faucet.

Yes! Google sent me here! I have a stainless sink as well that looks like the one pictured at 0:53 in my kitchen, but I have a single versus a double& my faucet handles are different. I have the same problem regarding the water splashing but I am a renter and I cannot change the faucet nor sink. I am constantly wiping the water up from that area and surrounding area every single time I turn on the water and I never leave dishes in my sink. The water literally hits the empty sink and bounces back up against the backsplash and surrounding areas. I also do not have that kind of faucet that you are showing that you Googled that creates the splash. I wish I could leave a pic with my comment. Oh yeah, building I believe was built in 1940, according to Google.

Our old faucet never had a splashing problem, the first time we replaced it, the new faucet splashed all over the place even when the the valve was only half open and would happen using the spray and without. The styles of the two faucets were similar as we're the dimensions. The splash would continuously be a problem, washing hands, doing dishes, pretty much every use case would result in major splashing where as the old faucet never had this problem. Finally we decided to replace the new faucet and the replacement faucet worked great. It has amazing pressure when using the spray and doesn't splash (within reason) when not using the spray. The question is, is there any way to tell before installing the faucet if this may be a potential problem? Thanks

We just moved into a new home. We have a tall faucet (18”), with a double stainless sink. The splashing makes us crazy. Hubby says sink is too shallow and we need to buy deeper. However, even turning off faucet, water splashes in that area from our hands. Do we buy new faucet, sink, etc? Thanks!

does not mean nothing what this man talking obviously ..when you placed new faucet it may splash or may have not splash even if they mention regarding aerator ...so hard to pick what will happened , but definitely old models had preventing splashing way better than new one
