Thats the Christian children story version of thor so nothing like norse believed. The next problem was to do with everything other than race, the only thing they got even remotely right was the spelling of her name so why even give her that name. And as for Odin its meh we never really give him an appearance he's the All Father he appears however he wants.

To be honest, I enjoy your content because of characters from different mythologies that I haven't read about or looked too much into, like literally Sif is a good example. I never heard of the story about Sif's hair being shaved off entirely. Even just learning little details about other characters that I know from learning about different cultures. So keep up the great work man, and never be discouraged from telling the stories of other beings around the world!

This show is absolutely great. Mythology has always been a huge passion of mine, and often, I already know pieces of what you are presenting in the show. However, you fill in those other details and present it in a fun, engaging, and often humorous way. Many other channels are very boring and encyclopedic about it, where you make it more of a story. Keep up the great work. Not commenting on the other as we already have the game, but still wanted you to get another piece of positive feedback.

I loved GoW'd rendition of all the characters and Angrboda is near the top for me because of how nicely her character arc played out in the game. So much development packed in to relatively little screentime. Odin is another one I was iffy on at first but his performance was just too good.

It all started with messed up origins nursery rhymes and Disney. I loved the amount of effort and dedication you put in every research and the theories you presented were really well explained. I never knew the ATU index before you explained in almost every folklore messed up origins. And I enjoyed your mythology videos the most. I watch these videos before bed or when I'm too lazy to study or do anything. The knowledge gained gives substantial boost to my confidence. Honestly, it's fun to know about things that one learns through thorough research, just by watching your video. Summarizes the important details. Ps. Your voice and the way you talk makes it unique and 10x more interesting haha 😄. Thanks for these videos, I've stuck around since 2020 and will stick around till you keep making content. I'd love to see you explore more mythologies around the world. (Asian would be different from what you've covered and being an Indian, I'd enjoy seeing you shed some light on it's rich mythological history and spread it to the western audience as well. I assure you, it's not as mind-blowing as Norse but it's pretty darn close)

My favorite series on this channel so far was the zodiac signs one. I admit i follow several channels that talk about folklore and mythology, some are more documentary style. This channel is different in that Jon is always eager to share what he learned where he learned it and is one of those super rare teachers many of us lacked in school that has the ability to take a spark of interest one might have in a topic and stoke the fire of curiosity so that we enjoy learning all these little details and have fun doing it.

I’ve been watching your videos for a long time now, and I really like all the various topics that I may never have heard of or taken an interest in otherwise. I’ve always liked mythology, and I find analyst videos, entertaining and easy to digest. It would behoove me to go and look these things up afterward, just to verify the facts, but I don’t have enough time or interest to do that, so taking the grain of salt and loving your videos for what they are is enough for me.

the thing i love most about your videos is you can learn some cool stuff your sarcastic humour is grate and you made me realise that sometimes its later versions of stories that are responsible for its most widely known modern version i also appreciate that you call out when what people know is just a theory that's been accepted as fact

Came here after GOW didn't win GOTY. They may have won more awards than Elden Ring but my heart still hurts. I need my GOW lore. Thank you, Jon.
