Thanks for revisiting the Magic Mixer in color mode. I tend to forget it's there, so very helpful indeed. Have yourself a great New Year and keep these great videos coming.

Thanks again Dave and Happy New Year to yourself as well. Would like to see where in your complete edit you would use this. Im sure you have shown us before but perhaps in a future complete edit we could see at what stage you would use the TK Magic Mixer. Cheers.

Wonderful start to a new year Dave! Your videos last year have inspired me a lot to experiment with the TK9 plugin. I also purchased Sean Bagshaw's basic and advanced masking video tutorials just to brush up on skills. I can't wait to see what you'll come up with in 2025! Have a great day Dave.!

Thanks Dave for another great and informative video. I have purchased and installed the Panel and now need to work out how to integrate it into my workflow. When should it be used? Will you be working up some tutorials on how to get the best out of this great tool? Happy New Year and hope that you 'are set up for success'!

I hope 21025 is a good year for you. When you click the shift key and select both layers in the portrait and put them in a group, is that like masking the mask. I am trying to get my head around the concept here. Thanks, Dave. Larry
@thejoyofeditingwithdavekelly26 күн бұрын
Thanks Larry and Happy New Year. Masking the mask is when you have a mask, let's say a luminosity mask, attached to a layer and you put that layer in a group and apply a mask to the group. That is what "masking the mask” is. In the video, I put two layers in a group and applied the mask to the entire group so that I would only affect the area masked by the group in both layers, which is different than masking the mask. It's similar but in this case there isn't a mask attached to the layers. Technically you can say the layers have a mask but they are just white , reveal all masks.

It can only be used as a plugin for Photoshop, is that correct? I use only Capture One, thanks.
