You have changed my whole outlook on being prepared and what it takes out there. Can you do one on the way you trip plan, and fuel stops? Thank you Kevin.

Had my wife stop by and get one of these Hoses for me, identical to what you're using, however not only was it missing a gladhand the side that you put on the fill valve is a screw on which is impossible to screw on for the outside tire because of the angle of the valve

Bit of good advice, buy ear protection and a extension to put air in to the tire so you d'ont stand to close.I have 30 years experience as a mechanic and it could happen that the tire explodes, especially with tires that have been driven for a long time with too low pressure.

I just bought one, do I need thread sealant for the air hose? The glad hand adapter on the hose and the stem balance adapter, so both ends of the hose need to be screwed on after purchase. So do I buy thread sealant to put the hose together prior to using this?

Hi what if i have a tire pressure inflator central controllers box !??? Other than that why dont you have a gage on your inflator hose ???? Takes lots of time. To feel it this way ???
@TheJoyofTrucking5 ай бұрын
Our trailers have self-inflating system, but not the tractors. You can buy a gauge for the inflator nozzle and put it together yourself. It does take a long time. It’s just for emergencies. Better at the truck stop.

Heard you say that you pull the red knob, don't you push it in after hooking up tire air hose ?
@jordanjarrell74547 ай бұрын
Yes. You push in the red knob which supplies air

Use a locking tire valve chuck on your fill hose and you can stand well away from the tire.

I’m a new driver, but definitely I’m going to buy one on my next truck stop. Wondering if it’s long enough to reach the trailer tires ? Thanks for the video, and be safe!
@TheJoyofTrucking3 жыл бұрын
Hey there! Congratulations!! On Werner trailers, the trailer tires are self-filling, which means they are automatically inflated via pressurized air from tractor. If you have trailers that are not self-inflating, the 50 ft hose will reach if tandems are all the way forward. Thanks for watching!!
@brandonnorton91282 жыл бұрын
Yes they’re long enough. Most loves, pilot, TA truck stops sale 50’ hoses
@jmaegm10 ай бұрын
Now they sell the green hose godzilla it comes with the locking chuck that you push or pull in and it stays in without having to hold it. The chucks were cheap no good on the old style hoses. Everyone knew you had to replace them with a better one.

Yup. Bad quality. Kevin changed the end piece that connects to the valve on the tire. Now it works. But one shouldn’t have to do that. We saw other brands on Amazon.

the fact that they fill them up inside a cage at the tire shop worries me doing this while leaning on the tire and my face nearby

The one at Loves is cheap AF! They have you buy it knowing the chuck is a POS then wants to sell you a new chuck afterwards… if the first thing I bought was crap yea lemme get more crap

Not to be "that guy" but I think 110psi for the drives is a touch too much. 100 on the drives, 110 for steers

Hello guys.. Question What is the speed limit on truck and it comes with refrigerator ? Thanks guys
@TheJoyofTrucking3 жыл бұрын
Hey Hector! Thanks for watching!! The truck is governed at 65mph. But on cruise control you can get it to 68mph (which comes in handy for passing Swift trucks ;-)). Werner does not provide fridges. We bought an inexpensive 12 v cooler that’s working quite well for us so far.

@@lifechanger7976 You can find them in the auto parts section or auto parts store. Don’t know the ‘official’ name. Also, Kevin recommends getting the air gun attachment. Good for cleaning things.
