I remember this Charmander card I pulled from one of the newer packs that showed him in the rain with his tail flame being weak. Another sad pokemon card is the two from the Topps cards that are based on the first movie which shows ash being turned to stone with pikachu next to him crying with the next card being called pokemons tears which on the back shows that image of Pikachu crying over Ash.

The Natu card is actually depicting a behavior pretty common to small birds that live in places with cold winters. you'll see entire lines of little birds huddled together like that all the time because it's the normal way they survive the winter. See? No more sadness.

I never played the card game, but I did play most of the handhelds, memorized both the theme song and the Poke Rap from the first season, and even own plushies. But Whooper made me want to cry, and Cubone, though always a sad Pokemon, made me wish it was real so I could keep it with me and keep it happy.

As soon as I read the title I KNEW it'd be related to Breakthrough's Cubone. That card is devastating. Still, that's the cubone in my TCG Pokedex. Last cubone I had (Dragon's Exalted) was cool and all but this is like everything cubone-related in a single drawing. Art is meant to portray emotions after all.
