I can do just fine on the more recent games, which is understandable, considering the lack of difficulty in most of today's games, but seriously, all those old Mario games are too tedious. Jump, run, jump again, run again, do a few trick jumps, go down a secret shortcut, get a secret item that isn't very secret, and avoid enemies in the process. Now that I hear this out loud, this sounds like every game in existence. Except Captain Toad and LoZ games.

My little brother is autistic, and you know how autistic people have a few things that they are VERY good at? Yea, for my brother, one of those things is MARIO. He's beat the crown level from Super Mario 3D Land at least a million times. I haven't even gotten that far in the game yet. I'm proud enough that he got all the star coins and beat all the levels to get to the level, but he also managed to beat the level itself. He has the special limited edition "Mario 3DS" that is red and comes with Super Mario 3D Land pre-downloaded, and he has played the HECK out of that game. On my account I have, like, 11 or 12 lives saved up. But NOOO! He has the MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF LIVES POSSIBLE. EVER. He has it where it says like 'crown crown crown' for the lives or whatever. l don't even know how much that is, never mind how to get it!!! Whenever I have trouble with a level on a Mario game I give it to him and come back like half an hour later to see that he's beaten the rest of the world for me. At least the kid is sweet, I'll give him that much =^w^=

Crown - Crown was one hell of a night streaming for me. I had played through and 100%'d the entire game up to this level, and managed to beat it in multiplayer with a good buddy of mine. Had a good ole` time all together, but one day a week later I decided it'd be a good idea to try and stream the hardest level with a handicap. Sat down, started OBS, messed with the Hotpocket (Which is what we at The Block affectionately call my Hauppauge) until it started working, and then I started it. One long night of me attempting to beat the level with every character without the assistance of power-ups. It ended up being Luigi, if I recall correctly, that was the easiest for me. In fact, once I beat the level with everyone I think Luigi overall is my favorite character in the game at this point. Long Story slightly short, I love that level. And hate it.

Its hit and miss with kirby the only boss (that arnt final so no Queen Sectonia or DeDeDe) i ever rember having consecutive trouble with was pyribbit from triple deluxe. Flowery Woods: easy, Paintra: easy, Kracko: easy, Coily Ratteler: easy (bell kirby ftw), Pyribbit: nope. Kirby single handedly handed my backside to me on a silver platter with this boss to this day im always reduced to low health with Pyribbit so idk what was going through hal labs minds when it was created (hellspawn)

The thing about Champion's Road is that it feels easier than the Perfect Run with the right set-up. If you go as Peach or Rosalina with Tanooki Suits, it's relatively forgiving, actually. Sure, not losing the suits is difficult, but the amount of bottomless pits you don't have to worry about anymore is so relieving. Playing with Toad and no power-ups though...*shudder.

Mario Sunshine pachinko machine is not that hard when you know how it works... its all based on scripted fall paths, and you are not supposed to be in there with the hover nozzle, its supposed to be the rocket nozzle... point is. when you try to adjust your fall wit hthe nozzle, it shifts the scripted falls and nearly every time you will miss fall and die... if you just used the rocket, and free fall normaly, the script paths will take you straight to each red coin 100x easier...

In Super Mario 3, in Bowser's World, you can swim UNDER the ships in that scary-looking red water and avoid pretty much everything, but just don't let Mario (whom you cannot see down there) swim too low - just keep swimming!! I love those levels from the Star Worlds with Gnarly and Way Cool and Tubular and Mondo! Completing those bad-boys was satisfying... Also, Super Mario All-Stars Lost Levels night levels have the prettiest backgrounds. :)

You know what I think is the most difficult Mario level, it's in Mario Sunshine, the island off of Delfino Plaza with stranded dude, and a green pipe level, you need yoshi to spray off the brown gunk, which involves jumping 2 boats very hap and hazardly to reach the island taking around 3 to 5 minutes, if you don't mess it up and lose Yoshi from falling in the water. The level is moderately difficult, collecting red coins on a spray powered boat (I hate that boat >.

For number 7, my strategy was to start the level with both the Penguin Suit and Invincible Star, then I would use the Star power to take out as many Piranha Plants as possible before it wears off while having good traction on the ice. It worked!

Well, the #1 spot is you can't take one hit, or touch any coins or hit any enemies. On a level you haven't practiced yet.
