Jews will be converted, a little before the end of time. It is in fact a virtuous thing to pray for the conversion of the Jews and it would be a good thing to have more of that. There are more and more Jewish people already in social media announcing their acceptance of Christ, although not necessarily of the true Church.

While listening to the news today which I try not to do I was getting a little confused. I was not sure who were the good or bad right or wrong. I love his four books on the Old Testament, but his conclusions about Servant of God, Luisa Picaretta were shocking, disappointing. Fr. Isnuzxi did a wonderful retreat on her lessons of doing God’s Will and meditation on the 24 hours of Christ’s passion and death. Fr. Maudsley would benefit from Ft. Ianuzzi’s podcasts during the Triduum.

Some of what I got from your discussion: Moses brought The Law which contains The Spirit--The Word. We are to act in accordance with the Spirit of The Law not in the words of the law. The words are like landmarks in a desert pointing the way out... by way of The Spirit. Synthetic laws do not contain the Spirit.

I respect your words, and your sentiment. Fr Mawdesley's writings are rich and profound. But i have a problem. Conversion is and must be a deeply and essentially personal experience. Also, referring to the 'conversion of the Jews', we all know that the Jews are hugely divided, as indeed are all religions today. Mass conversion, of course, is a supernatural possibility. But that surely tends to a heretical theology/anthropology. Grace and nature work together and for conversion to happen both must converge within the human individual at a moment in their life.

Of course, however as Catholics it IS our duty to witness and evangelize. Any denial of that removes one from Catholicism. Jesus is the Messiah. He is Christ, the triune God without whom there is no salvation. Laudetur Jesus Christus! Salve Regina!

I have a Carmelite prayer book from 1922. The prayer to the sacred Heart of Jesus prayed for the conversation of two different religions other than Catholicism. After WW2 the Chief Rabbi of Rome started to demand these prayers to be taken out of books. Start reading. E. Michael Jones has footnoted this and was cancelled by Jewish instructors at Catholic Universities!

I was disappointed and surprised to learn that E. Michael Jones disposes the traditional Latin Mass. much of Jones’ writings about the Jews seems to be anti Semitic rather than enlightening. Professor of Theology Janet Smith finds that flaw of his to be quite repulsive.and turned down the opportunity to present with Patrick Coffin for this reason as Jones was one of the presenters. She, on the other hand, is quite a defender of TLM and responded to three theologians, Professors Cavadini, Healy (?) and Fr. Weinandy’s

All including the gentiles will bow down before Jesus. The Bible very very clearly says all knee will bow before the name of Jesus. Keep praying. Pray the rosary. Mama Mary is the key to bring all towards Jesus. The devil deceived Eve. But Mama Mary will crush Satan soon.

Theologically, Peter, Paul, the Apostles J_ws and later non-J_ws who followed Christ became the continuation of Israel, those who rejected God become man ceased being so. Plus, by J_ws own account Beta-Israel (Ethiopians) and Mizrahi J_ws (Arab, Armenian looking, India etc) and not only European J_ws (Ashkenazi & Sephardic) are J_ws. You know... like Catholics in Colombia and Brazil. The hatreds in the Levant run both ways between the Mohammadans and J_ws. There are Arabs and J_ws in Israel and Syria that get along. But there are those on both sides that have contempt for one another. The Gaza and Israel issue I have learned is a more tangled problem than we are sold as suckers in the West to believe. I'm not pro-Palestinian nor pro-Israeli, but IF! it is true that for several generations the Palestinians of Gaza have been locked 🔐 behind a gate from birtb to adulthood to elderly years... yeah! I can imagine who some Palestinian young adults could develop rage and hate especially at 60% unemployment (which is roughly the TRUE unemployment rate for black working age males in Milwaukee, Wisconsin). By the way, reading this as I am titled, "Prisoners of Geography," which looks at 10 countries (ex: USA, China, Russia) I have a *better* understanding why the Government of Israel would not want Gaza turned into a sovereign country. I also further understood why Russia was 100% rational in its security goals in trying to get Ukraine to be a neutral buffer state. "Terrain dictates movement" was dogma I learned in infantry patrolling in the Marine Corps. So, I learned a an apprectiation for terrain or geography at the tactical level (enlisted person). This book has helped me appreciate terrain or geography for the strategic and for national security. I would have to re-listen to the video on the Russian solutuon for the Palestinian/Israeli issue as I was distracted while listening to it but I'm not sure the Palestinians having their own sovereign country a foot step from Israeli border is wise for Israel. It also makes me wonder if Arab countries are serious about finding a solution IF those Arab countries won't absob Palestinians into their countries as citizens. The Palestinians may be pawns between 2 opposing alliances on Earth. Possible. But looks like J_ws expelled Palestinians from Israel like Spanish Catholics once expelled J_ws and Mohammadans from Spain.

There can be no "only in the NT" because God can not change (Matt 5:17). The way Fa. Mawdsley makes the connections should ring out from every Catholic pulpit because the preaching we are getting these days are not educating anybody but rather pushing the errors of Vatican II. I hope that Council will be stricken and exposed for the diabolical plot that has led to Bergoglio. A false pope has no authority to proclaim Saints, change Sacraments, or prayers or change one jot or dot of Scripture.

I'm a Jewish convert, first to "protestant" Christianity (nondenominational) and then to the True Church in 2009. I'd like to point out that you are kind of on the edge of a tautology. When Jews convert, especially to Christianity, they are considered no longer part of the Jewish community. You're not considered a Jew any longer, by rabbinic law. So the "Jewish people" that you're describing will always exclude Christians. So they have to be in one place to experience a mass conversion, and the fact that that one place is the land prophesied in the Old Testament is no coincidence. It's not the fulfillment of a spiritual promise, I agree with that, but it is the fulfillment of a physical promise. The Jews went from being slaughtered by Nazis to a land in the midst of over 20 huge Arab countries that also want to slaughter them. Again, I agree, this is not a fulfillment of spiritual promise, but if you don't see the hand of God in the Jews being in Israel then I think you have a blind spot.

The Jews of today are not same as Jews of Jesus time. Why? The ancient practices ended with the diaspora of 70 AD. And the modern Jewish state is secular. Will this be the end of it? I don't think so. But I'll not change my mind as I know I'm right
