Hi there I have the daiwa sl30 as well as the sl50 beautiful reels

I just bought the 50H this week. Although I still love my Fathom II 15, Squall 15, and Akios 757 CTM for medium to medium heavy surfcasting, the Saltist is far more controllable than the large 30 and 40 size Fathom reels I own. The build quality, smoothness, and power on the 50H is impressive. So when it comes to heaving big baits in the surf, yellowtail/albacore/smaller to medium tuna on boat charters, and big sturgeon, the 50H is the one for the job
