Thanks so much for this detailed review - you’re content is awesome as always! You got me looking into boss batters after your video on Primal Awakening vs Monster Hunter World. I’m currently trying to compare Townsfolk Tussle, Primal Awakening and Monster Hunter World. Where does TT rank alongside the other two for you?

I got the base game, and both expansions. I'm really excited about a casual boss battle game.

Any word on a 3rd campaign where i can get everything combined in one big box version. I would rather hold out and back that. But fomo will have me backing now in case that never comes.

that might not ever happen, those big boxes are expensive and only useful to part of the player base who own it all. Might happen though I suppose.

I hate icing on my cake!!! I'm outta here!!🤣🤣🤣😅 With that out of the way, seems like a good boss battler. Would be happy to play it but i don't feel the need to own it. A friend got me gloomhaven which we haven't started yet, and we're half way through jaws of the lion. Plus, I'll have Oathsworn coming later this year. That's enough boss battling for me ;) Thanks for the review! 😎

I don't see why you can't just remove that aspect. I'm not a huge fan of it either so we'll likely just ignore the goal cards that are like that next time we play.

@@morgaknightgames you can just come to terms with your team and tell them about their feats, maybe talk about it before hand or after hand. Those cards contribute to ways to gain coins and stats as well as the final fight

@@aalburygan exactly. There's ways to mitigate that aspect if you don't like it.

I personally find it too long for the simple gameplay and the new rules about removing 1 fight doesn't do enough. I would have liked some advanced rules. Someone on BGG posted some facing rules which is a simple change but looks like it'd make it far more tactical. Seen as the bosses have a forward arrow on the front of the minis, it seems odd that facing isn't really used in the game.
