Drilling straight into a dowel is best done on a lathe, but you can stick the dowel in the drillpress as the rotating part and have the drill beneath as just clamped in a vice. That way youll have clear indication of center as you drill. You can make the trigger selfresetting pretty easily with a small spring behind the trigger.

When you pointed out you hit the spot where you'd already hit reminded me of this. When I took the course to get my Ohio Concealed Handgun License in 2012. At the live fire range, we only loaded 5 rounds. I have a 1911 45 acp handgun. We fired at 25 feet at a sheet of 8-1/2 x 11 inch piece of paper with a black circle in the middle. After firing my 5 shots, there were only four holes within a 3 inch circle around the black target spot. I was scolded for missing the paper. After a close inspection, I told the instructor to take a closer look at one hole, it wasn't round but slightly oval shaped. Turns out I didn't miss the paper but put a second round through same spot. He laughed and said he was sorry he scolded me!

Can you cool helium to make it a liquid and see what happens? I hear it flows against gravity
@Karol-cj9fy6 жыл бұрын
Dogrimp 3 flows against gravity? Like, I know what you mean, but it isn't breaking the laws of physics, it's gravity that would make it happen, since air is more dense than helium and so gets pulled below it
@jackmichael106 жыл бұрын
It doesn't since you've cooled the helium so much the atoms are so tightly bunched together after condensing that they become denser than air so it would flow towards gravity but would float on water. I see your logic though but it doesn't make sense in terms of physics.

@gundudeRAIM6 жыл бұрын
Kasper Fox it's not powerfull at all he need powerfull limbs , the pvc is too thin
@AshTheBacon6 жыл бұрын
If you want to make a crossbow like this and make it stronger get a similar PVC that is much much thicker, or instead of building one primary bow and a secondary build two primary bows same length and join them to make a more rigid primary bow, now when you build it provide more tension in the string compared to what he did since you want more power
@AshTheBacon6 жыл бұрын
If you do this it could go through many layers and could possibly have almost the same draw weight as a small compound bow so around 30+ pounds or more depending on your method of building it
@kasper75746 жыл бұрын
