I suspected that @harrydonaldson1965 might have been right when he speculated that the Kinks's selection "Don't Forget To Dance" might have been a follow-up to that ensemble's earlier selection, "Come Dancing." The scenes where the slicked-back, thinly-mustachioed man Ray Davies acts out is actually inside some ballroom are enough to make some people believe that, contrary to bridge lyrics in "Come Dancing," the "Palais" that the sister of "Come Dancing's" narrator frequented on Saturdays had NOT been torn down in favor of a "car park" (parking lot) at all!

Did you know that Ray's sister died of a stroke while dancing with a stranger several days after she gave him his first guitar? I believe the videos with the mustache man character("Come Dancing" and 'Don't Forget") are inspired by this event, which had to be shattering for teen age Ray.
