Same. The OKnife is definitely my favorite and has the best price. I love box cutters. I have a Milwaukee 6-in-1 that I use as much or more than most of my pocket knives. You just want to feel free to beat on it. Love the video. Great concept and info. Thank you Jay!

I find it weird that you decided to do utility knives. Lately, I've been obsessed with them to the point where I now have two different brands of OTF utility knives and a titanium balisong utility knife. I'm just waiting for the Reate Exo-U to drop.

Thanks! Yeah, I know what you mean. I think I would probably miss not carrying a "regular knife", but these are great for opening boxes. Sometimes I don't feel like dealing with tape residue on my good knives.

I picked up the Otacle a few months back, and love it. Fits easily in my 5th pocket and because of that takes up almost no space. I don't carry it every day like I do my "real" knives, but if I know I'm going to be doing something that could use a box cutter, in my pocket it goes.

They're ALIVE! The Frankenstein cutter knives! Great content for ya Jay. Evolved a bit from the Stanley 99A utility we had in the 60s. Call me crazy, but with a bunch bunch of new blades just ready to use I'll still go to the whetstone. I just know I'm gonna die before I use them all.

Didn’t include Jerry Rig Knife?!? Great cutter for a great price. It’s not an auto or quick open, just an all metal except one, solid locking, easy blade change knife.

The upcoming Civivi Elementum box cutter will be pretty popular. I really don’t have a need for a utility blade beyond the $10 craftsman one I have in my tool bag, but if you do need one with better quality this is a great list!

I bought the coast shift when it first came out I work construction so I use it for drywall it was great at first easy open easy blade change but after about a year of use the blade keeps popping off in my pocket it's very frustrating

Utility knives? I got two (2) Husky brand utility/box cutter knives ( a 2-fer deal ) for about $10.. I keep one in my EDC pouch and one in my kitchen junk drawer.

We have three of the Gerber EAB floating around the house and they get constant use. Picked up the Oknife recently, however, and it’s better. Just wonderful utility at a great price.

The Oknife is WAY too short on the handle side. If you go to close it normally it will cut your palm. Been there and done that. On top of the fact that the pocket clip is not hardened, so if you catch it on a seat belt or something else, it will bend immediately. I wanted it to be nicer than it is and the action is o.k., but frankly it needs 1/2" of length at least on the handle and a hardened pocket clip. Heck, just make it 2 screw compatible with another knife company's clip and we are good. But it only has 1 screw on the clip and is not compatible with other brand pocket clips. Such a disappointment.

I am not going to lie, I have always had a pudgy palm, and this thing left a mark the first time I casually flicked it. :) I gave it to my son in law to put in his tool box a few days later after the pocket clip caught on a seat belt and bent straight out (no hardening on the pocket clip). There is a lot of promise in the design for sure, they just need to fix a few things.
