Most people don't realize that The Avengers are in their mid to late 50's. To make another movie would mean to see Scarlet Johansson with a few wrinkles on her face and so the other actors. They need to leave with some dignity.

I think Benedict Cumberbatch is right. We can't trust anything he, Chris Evans, or anyone from that franchise says lol. The only way to know for sure is if they actually show up in the movies. I'm very intrigued by the Nomad version of Steve Rogers, though. A variant of that could definitely work. I'm still holding out hope for a Disney+ series about Cap bringing the stones back to their rightful place in time as well. I really want to see how that went, especially his interaction with Red Skull. As for Henry Cavill playing a villain in a Star Wars movie, I'm all for it. If he can bring what he did for Mission: Impossible 6, then the movie's in good hands. And I'd very much like to see Romy & Michelle 2 in theaters. I wish we could get past this mentality that comedies aren't worthy of theatrical releases. I'll never understand what started that. Besides, Mira Sorvino and Lisa Kudrow aren't as big of stars as they were in '97. I don't think it'll cost too much having them do it. Also, ticket prices are higher now than they were then. If the budget is the same or close to what the original had along with the cult following it's built up over the years, it shouldn't have trouble making a profit.

Because when a star is added to a big franchise the movie never spends any time building up the character but instead count on the audience liking the character because they already like the star that was casted. If they write a good character I am all for a star but sadly that isn’t how it usually works out
