14:15 Its from the original sinanju. it allows you to store it's beam rifle (without the white jacket and grenade launcher attachment) to the back skirt.

Paint sleeves white then gloss. Add stickers spray black. Gloss, flat coat then peal stickers. For some reason I find this easier.

Bonus for being the only reviewer I've seen the mentioned the seam on the sleeves markings. Only a slight bonus though, because it's more than "a little annoying". For my own opinion at this later date, this kit isn't even as well made as the original HGUC Sinanju. It's not up to the standard of other 2018 HGUC kits at all. The seam lines are far worse, and the new articulation makes it more difficult if not impossible to modify the parts so you can paint and assemble them later. Articulation is said to be improved, but assembly was made worse. I am sort of perplexed by how positive the reviews are. People who paint and deal with seams should have opened this kit and face-palmed just like I did. In reality Bandai is pretty good, and they can do very well when they actually bother to try. But companies like Tamiya were decades ahead in terms of creating quality kits and including high quality details while engineers favored solid sensible builds instead of low part counts. Tamiya looks at their skilled customers and says "Enjoy, here's a quality project that isn't over difficult due to lazy design." Bandai looks at THEIR skilled customers and says "Don't like it? Too bad, we own the intellectual property too so we'll just sue anyone that ever tries to a do a better job." Tamiya doesn't raise their standards with one kit only to lower them again on the next release. Tamiya doesn't advertise new levels of quality only to then limit that quality to a single release. The amount of time I've already spent modifying the rifle to remove seams makes me wish I didn't even buy this kit. This is such a lazy, corner cutting release. How come no one ever looks at a kit and says "Bandai can do better."? It's the truth.

I think my biggest complaint for the kit out of anything here would be the lack of waist articulation at some kind of connection between the waist and upper torso. I can't complain too much considering everything else they did with the kit - especially when I could likely mod it - but that's the only thing that comes to mind.

hey great review i just have a question in regards to bicep rotation. When i bought the high grade sinanju the arm will always fall off. Do you have the same problem or is the arm connection very good and won't fall off?

Did you have the connections tight enough or the polycap in correctly?

HGUC Sinanju is actually a _very_ solid and well-designed kit. A high amount of the colour separation was done with parts instead of stickers, and the articulation is great. It also comes with plenty of weapons and other accessories. Seriously, I had to remind myself several times while building it that it's an HG kit. I had so much fun I built another one, to use for my RWBY Gunpla Project. While this one's beam saber effect parts don't look as cool, and it doesn't have effect parts for the axes, it does have the bazooka, and it looks as solid a build as its predecessor. What's more, the all-new parts and lack of colour separation stickers is very much appreciated. Especially considering how the Sinanju Weiss is just a colour swap with a few new accessories, and sells at twice the price under the P-Bandai label. I would take the more accessible Stein over the Weiss. And if you can get either HGUC on sale, so much the better.

Nice review. But I feel you were nitpicking over that extra knee separation. It’s a high grade. The HG Hazel was testing out new articulations and gimmicks when it came out in the early 2000s so Moon Gundam falls in the same line of test bed gunpla to see what works for future kits. The swing-out shoulder joint was carried over from the evolution project Zeta from last year. When Bandai goes overboard with these articulations the kit becomes unstable and then people complain that they’re “hand grenades”... My point is the parts are stable as they are and adding more movement would just ruin a nicely designed model. Didn’t mean to go on a rant but I feel that the high grade’s limitations are part of its charm and if HGs have MG level articulations why make MGs or RGs anymore?

MG is the most pirated line, some people tend to buy the fakes instead,so it doesn't sell as well. I don't mind the slow release of MGs as long as we get good stuff from the line for each release, even if they are just variants, yes the Full Saber and GM Sniper Custom are particularly good.

The primary grey on the body is a lot darker on the kit than what the video shows. I prefer the normal white like the MG ver Ka.

Yeah the Sinanju Stein was already a very cool-looking MS, but why the fuck did they have to ruin it with straight-up shit brown colored frame/joints/hands? You canNOT tell me that crap looks good. If anything, it's a testament to what a great design the Sinanju Stein is that the kit still looks decent despite that retarded color choice. But if someone is going to tell me that the kit is "beautiful" with that turd-colored frame, then I have to ask: what exactly will it take to get you to stop wagging your tail at literally ANYTHING that Bandai tosses down the shit-chute at you? When are Gundam fans going to start being more discerning again? And while I'm at it, same goes for the anime this is coming from. A shameless, poorly contrived, cash-grab sequel at the expense of de-legitimizing the last genuinely good Gundam anime.
