I think that a big chunk of people wanting Kyle gone would acknowledge he has done great things for us and is a good coach... but a heap of us are sick of him not taking responsibility for things and blaming all but him, and his refusal to play anyone but his holiday crew...
@mrsky679 сағат бұрын
So you don’t think it’s a pattern that when we’re on the cusp of victory we blow a 10 point lead because of his inability to adjust when his game plan fails? He’s really good at playcalling, but when it comes to clock management, leadership and adjustments he has proven for years he’s not suitable for it. One time it happens? Ok. But 3+ times is a pattern.

@jubeijackson66027 сағат бұрын
It’s Kyle’s fault! Why? Because he’s unwilling to shore up his blind spots and weaknesses. He thinks teams won’t exploit his weaknesses and that’s exactly what they’ve been doing.
@skipdog99127 сағат бұрын
He helped be relevant.that’s it. He’s gotta some mediocre players to play at a high level. He’s too arrogant, and has choked in every big game we ever played it. It’s time to move on!

Very true. That said, its a lot easier to come back the next season when you've won 3 bowls. But your point is still well taken in that they've done a better job of turning over that roster, and then absolutely NAILED it in hiring Spagnolo (beat Brady in two SBs as the Giants DC). Our depth isnt nearly as great as we thought, and I agree that Campbell has been atrocious most of the season, on top of having ZERO DTs and pass rushers after Bosa and Floyd

The 49ers have zero depth in both offense and defense yesterday. The Niners defense collapsed rapidly in light speed with backups after many defensive starters were nursing injuries on the bench.

It’s not just the personal because Fangio had our defense playing well with major injuries. Sorensen isn’t good . He’s lost out there. Fired a competent Wilkes and hired a coach who doesn’t know what he’s doing.

@ they still play a lot games. Don’t kid yourself now, anyone with any knowledge of football should know that Shanahan is a huge problem for this team. I said this team was done since after the week 3 loss against the rams. I saw this train wreck coming a mile away. I also said that Shanahan will never win a title since after the 2021 season. My next prediction is that this Shanahan regime has reached its peak last year. It’s all downhill form now on. For the record, I don’t care if Shanahan remains coaching this team. This team is going nowhere with him.

Has deebo lost a step though? He had a huge return that got negated for a penalty, but still ran a long way on a return. They just need to get him the ball on short outs, not long crossing plays. Now his runs have not been so good this year, but get him the ball on the short outs in a little open space. Granted he does have to make the catch and he has missed some open catches. But I'm pretty sure he isn't done for, just need Kyle to do soke creative stuff.

@glens.hoffman398422 минут бұрын
Deebo is not toast! His coach keeps giving him backfield sweeps that aren't working because defenses are identifying it and gang tackling it. He's not Superman and neither is CMC! We need to stop running it up the middle because our offensive linemen are lacking in size and power to push defenses back. Deebo missed a few catches because Brandon Allen was running for his life and threw the ball with too much velocity and kinda high. Our receivers are used to touch passes that are arched perfectly and easy to catch.(Purdy) Brandon Allen has some good throws in him, but he's not an NFL quarterback because he can't move in the pocket or improvise to find a passing lane. It's scary that Shanahan sees any value in him, because it just doesn't exist. Dobbs needs to be Purdy's backup because he's an NFL quarterback and has potential to excel. But nothing will improve unless Shanahan starts changing his horrible play calling and he needs to fire the defensive coordinator immediately. If that doesn't happen, Shanahan needs to be fired at the end of the season. P.S. Daniel Jones is a backup at best and has trouble completing passes over 10 yards. Don't even go there!!!

Niners need to molt their skin and rid themselves of some older players with hefty contracts and refresh through the draft and wise free agent signings. A retool is possible, but must start ASAP. Clinging to hope spells mediocrity. Be ahead of the curve Niners. And Shanahan is not perfect, but he’s better than 90% of the coaches in the NFL, so I’d stick with him.
