@@geotherapy I was surprised when I read your comment. As I remembered, Dobbs looked pretty good this preseason and I thought he outplayed Allen. So I looked it up. Anyone wanting Ulbrich is nuts. This wide 9. Seattle zone with fangio concepts sucks. We don't have the DL to run it. It took Dee Ford one year and career years from Aden Key and Charles Omenhiu to run it effectively out of 8 years. The quick passing offenses get the ball out before the ends get there. That's why we are always a step behind. Now we don't have the DTs or LBs to stop the run in Wide 9. We have Bosa, Warner and Demo and a bunch of 3rd stringers. We need a DC that can manufacture pressure with exotic blitzes and get more outta lesser talen. Offense is a gonna be what it is as long as Kyle is here. Bad OL and aging stars. Until he takes OL seriously. This is what we got. Top offense that is annoyingly inept at crucial times costing us Games and SBs. Special teams is a joke. Unreal how that guy has a job

Yo Maiocco ! Long time listener of the insight. Just wanted to share something with You cause I know you care unlike the many other content creators. No one talks about the depth and the talent level behind the key players. When 2 or 3 guys on either side of the ball are unavailable how does it always become this massive dropoff with no balance. Happy medium in the football realm to me means balancing out roster, 52 solid professionals with chemistry. Relying on 10 to 12 guys could work but those guys need to be on the next level, we got those guys but health obviously becomes the issue, now what's next ? Who's next ? It's a Madden rating of 95 then drop off to 65 when the main guy isn't there. Just simplifying my thought but that's what I'm seeing. We got coaching, We got front office, We're paying the Main players but missing the crucial support that solidifies a "Championship Roster". Do We have those guys ? In certain positions most definitely but once a guy shows up it becomes " Do more of that and do it now ! " That's where his support becomes lost and the movement on field gets sloppy and appears worse than what it really is. I've worked a lot of bad jobs, been around a lot of careless people and this situation now with the Niners is totally relatable. There's so much more apparent issue but that's for another conversation. Depth, Depth and more Depth is the main issue on the player side. Coaching is solid, but learn how to take a punch better. Shanahan captains this ship, calm seas have passed the voyage ahead is gonna be rough if the boat is only equipped for a third of the journey. But Yo, if You read this far You're the Man !!! 👉🤛 Just an outrageous thought, Run Em 4niNe

When all 3 facets of the team keep underperforming despite having a core of veterans like this team has, the problem IS THE HEAD COACH! If it was just the Defense, ok HC Kyle picked the wrong guy. If it's just the Special Teams then that's on HC Kyle for not being able to fix it for YEARS now. But when the worst performers of all are the Offense, then that's the OC & HC Kyle that are failing the most. When you can't even get a team full of vets to try to scratch & claw enough to keep the game respectable and they just rollover & showed their bellies, you've lost this team. @jimwashington860 do the uncanny amount of injuries play into your overall assessment? The Niners have been way fortunate the last few years, as far as injuries and schedule go, so it was inevitable that the law of averages was going to swing in the opposite direction eventually. It doesn't seem rational to blow the whole thing up when we all knew the pendulum was going to whack us (as in Niners fans) upside the head eventually. That being said I'd preface this critique by saying Shanahan stays no matter what, that should be a non-negotiable. We need a D coordinator that the team will fight for and rally behind....they looked uninspired and iffy throughout the game yesterday; that happens when you have an incompetent leader (D coordinator) but you're forced to follow them. I'd say Salah or Ulbrich, or give uncle Sherm a shot. The bottom line is that this team is decimated with critical injuries and it is highly irrational to expect them to beat top tier teams. If we don't get Trent, Purdy, Bosa and Greenlaw back soon then I'd consider this season a loss. Can we all agree that it is infuriating seeing #59 lumber around out there getting in the way+

@ i agree with a lot of your points and I don’t want get rid of Kyle either but his approach needs to change some. The injuries are definitely a factor but Kyle with roster politics is hurting the team. He needs someone experienced to get in his ear from time to time and help him with his situational game management. As much as I hate to see some of the great players leave but I think the roster has reached its peak. I love Warner but his play has regressed as the season goes on which has been a pattern the last couple of seasons. I love Deebo also but his body has taken a lot of punishment over his short career I think it’s time to move on from him. And yes #59 sucks…

Why hasn’t Bosa blasted Nick like he did Steve? I know he’s not racist because he voted for Trump………..so what is it?
