Big plays are just killing us. You give up a 97 yarder last week to Jefferson, and a 50 yarder this week to Atwell. You could argue that is what cost us both weeks.

But past 2 weeks offensive line played like 💩. Receiver's aren't getting open and the only receiver who isn't dropping balls left and right is Jennings. Defense we aren't getting pressure , Can't stop the run and at least 2-3 times a game the secondary are sure to give up a huge play. Then there's special teams playing horrible and we have Shanahan making poor coaching decisions in key parts of the game.

In 7 seasons Shanahan has lost a 10 point lead in the Superbowl twice. He previously lost a 28-3 lead. He's had the best roster, apparently, in the NFL over the last 5 years. He's won 0 Superbowls. The O Line is constantly awful. Their top draft picks are mostly busts. The waste of the Trey Lance picks were masked by luck in getting Brock. It's been long enough. Shanahan is not going to win the Superbowl. It's time to get a new HC.

Well that philosophy has bit them in the butt again. Their db’s either hold, get pi penalties or get burned like today. Blame Aiyuk? He’s still working into game shape, and the reason he wasn’t in camp is because LYNCH didnt pay him or trade him before the draft. LYNCH dragged this on all off season, THEN paid him. Blame LYNCH for spending a third round pick on a kicker that can’t hit jack in the clutch. Blame LYNCH for dropping a first round pick on Pearsall when he was already injured. Back to BA; yesterday BA was open a LOT, Brock didn’t throw to him, probably because of the bad drops in game one. Brock is throwing to the guy that was in camp. All BA can do is be open when Brock chooses to start throwing to him again.

I can't believe how bad our defense is. It feels like we are getting out played. Not sure if our d cord is it. How do you play receiver through your college career, your dad was wr coach and consistently drop passes. how can you have such crap hands. Bell needs to be benched.

One thing that has to be considered is the shortened exhibition season. 4 games is not enough to evacuate new prospects and get the veterans into game shape. First of all I would have let Aiyuk go. He is not a marque wide receiver. I would have like to see the niners get Amari Cooper. The niners have to decide what to do with Deebo Samuels and George Kittle. These 2 guys every season miss between 3 to 6 games a season. Trent Williams maybe at one time an elite tackle but no more. He is no longer worth the money he is getting. Next the niners have to get better linebackers. Fred Warner is not a dominating middle linebacker and the rest of the linebacking core is nothing to rave about. Brock Purdy is coming into his own as an elite QB without any real offensive talent. Besides Bosa there is no real talent on the DL. This hurts the niners defense.
