This game doesn't feel like a horror game. Yes there are some jump scares, but I know they aren't there just for fun. It portrays how it feels moving on, trying to leave a part of you. As the player progresses, they get a glimpse of the character's story. As you go further, you start to feel extreme guilt. Guilt of leaving everything behind, guilt of abandoning something so precious but also harmful. "Moving houses" means moving on. I really enjoy games like those, poor quality but hides an amazing story behind

your point abt moving houses meaning moving on is literally told to us in the ending song, and i wholeheartedly agree with you abt this game. althoughi don't think the baby ever existed, bc the games gaslights us throughout, and so i thought that was just the MC believing in what, in his mind, could have been. but all in all, i think it's a very good psychological portrayal of the greif of loss.

SPOILERS !! What I gathered from that game is that a man and his wife wanted to start a family in this house, but when his wife got pregnant he was wrapped up with work, not being able to spend time with her while she was pregnant, and one day while he was at work, his wife was suddenly rushed to the hospital, she died but the child survived, explained the crying in the crib; He was stuck taking care of his kid without her, feeling trapped and not knowing what to do, so he decide to move away from that house, feeling like he needed a few fresh start. But he was stuck to that house, feeling like it was the only thing he had left of his wife, he tried to move out, but he couldn't bring himself to actually leave. Explaining why he was packing up boxes, but there were more things to do, like he was delaying the idea of moving. Even when he brought himself to do it, he probably bought the house again. Still unable to part ways with his wife and move on.

this game hits hard for me right now, im currently in the house my grandmother passed in. it was sudden and not expected. its been a year and we are deciding on selling the house and moving up north. for my mom and i, the guilt that this isnt Our house is too much, we cant do anything or move anything without feeling like it will disrespect her. but, we also feel like leaving will leave her soul here too. its a complicated thing, and im glad to see a game dive into this!! seeing this while dealing with the similar topic is also ironic, knowing my grandma once yelled at me when she found out the games i watched as i was younger from jays channel. haha

wait. so like. i think the moving process is trying to show its players/the guy theyre playing as their whole life. like initially, it was a first story house. and im assuming when the guy got married he turned the house into a two story one. then when we got kids (the said baby in the gameplay), it showed us the nursery. based on the breathing of the ghost (during the time when the lights went out), they definitely hold some grudge against the player [my theory somewhere mid-video HELP]
