Rajiv Gandhi the former PM signed a historical agreement with Mizo National Army (Front) in October 1986 and thus a permanent peace was restored. Since then Mizoram was made a separate State. Kudos to Rajiv Gandhi.

That's because unlike other Naga groups who separated from Chins in the Chindwin Valley and Kabaw(Khampat) territory, Zeme Rongmei and Inpui stuck around with Zo/Chins for a long time and many had settled in Lushai Hills for a long time. There are Mirong Vang/Naga Basti in many parts of Mizoram

Many of the Southern Chin tribes have a lot in common with Khiamniungan,Konyak and Lainong in their cultural practices like Tatooing, Death Ritual and Traditional Attires. While Naga and Zo are listed as different Scheduled Tribes in India, Naga is considered part of Zo or Chin in Burma

The Indian government should understand the causes of insurgencies in the Northeast. It is the inability of the Indian government to build trust, its inability to protect its languages, traditions and cultures, lack of development and education, neglect of the interests of indigenous peoples. Here's a dark truth👇 In Tripura, Bangalis, especially migrants from Bangladesh, form more than 70% of Tripura's population now. The original tribal inhabitants and the indigenous Kokborok language have been reduced to a minority. Our identity and self-image has been robbed of status and dignity in our own native soil. (If CAA is implemented in Tripura then our existence will surely become extinct) Would love to see a video from The Lallantop on this topic 'How Tiprasas become minorities in their own soil'

@@balpreetsingh6834 I'm glad to hear that :) (Before independence of India, most of the population was indigenous.Since the partition of India, many Bengali Hindus have migrated to Tripura (princely state at that time) as refugees fleeing religious persecution in Muslim-majority East Pakistan, especially after 1949) Many tourists even Indians from the other regions have this misconception that Tripura is a Bengali state . And apparently there are reasons for that misconception, such as the disproportionate representation of indigenous tribes in government. It is very difficult for an indigenous tribe to reach any high political and administrative positions. And just recently CBSE included Kokborok as school syllabus but in Bengali script. And as a result there is a high growing demand for a separate state, (Greater) Tipraland (land of Tiprasa) among indigenous communities.
