Opening parts plagued the RLC lineup this year in retrospect. Always a good idea in concept and it works for Optimus. Typhoon looks pretty rad. Was really disappointed by the McLaren. Hope they ditch the doors and just try again. Only model I bought, but quit once it became apparent rarity was no longer what you were paying for. Haven't bought since.

Supra or the Shelby GT500 are the winners for me this year, both are perfect castings, the opening parts work well, and the details on the inside of the engines are stellar and look crisp.

Ive got to give it to the Javelin with the Mustang and Barracuda closely behind, its one of the few I bought multiples of. It needed to be an abnormal build, because we already have 2 extremely similar models of the Javelin. A third one would have been overkill, and the street freak style came out fantastic. I personally like the deco but a lot of people feel differently, maybe theyll feel differently on its next release.

All good RLCs this year and alot of great ones, but i gotta say optimus is # 1 to me. I have a little regret not getting the chrome paganini but i got the blue/carbon one and i honestly like it better.

My vote would’ve been for the McLaren if the doors and QC wasn’t such a mess. The Javelin has the classic HOT WHEELS feel and no opening parts to mess it up (just like classic HWs!). When I was a kid if you wanted opening doors you bought Matchbox, if you wanted COOL CARS you bought Hot Wheels! Minority opinion but the Javelin wins!

I love the suspension detail on the new dodge power wagon. I hope they continue that with other RLC, it looks so clean and cool. Really hoping we see that kind of suspension detail on a 55 chevy gasser.

Definitely the Lincoln for me, iconic car, great opening doors and it just feels so Hotwheels. The other 4 opening door car coming next year, the 600, however, it's so out of shape, and why don't leave the chasis zamac like, hope they change it in the last minute.

Everyone has different tastes. I found the Typhoon to be the least eye catching. Porsche was one I had to have. Lincoln is was a must have too.

Code red mustang....HANDS DOWN. It was one of just 4 RLC i got this year and one of the few I felt was worth my money. 😂. Not a dig on the rest but i was just not feeling it this year. Great job all around on the releases from the designers but not much piqued my interest. Not even an Optimus prime. 😂. I wish they had done an accurate verison of the newer toys rather than a replica of the first in accurate toy. Cool but not my thing. The continental was great but for some reason i just passed on it. Shame on those who have let the QC go. A disservice to those who put a lot of hard work into these. The Mclaren quality was a crying shame. What should have been one of if the best releases of the year turned into a whimper. I passed on it after seeing the pictures and the awful paint quality. THE Supra another one with quality issues. So many posted with hoods that didnt close. 😏....shame shame Anyhow can NEVER go wrong with a Mustang. Very well done and the ones i received the paint was FLAWLESS..

My favorites included the Supra, Huayra R, Nissan Hardbody, RX-7 (when you look at what Mini GT or PopRace can do the engine detail is so not good, but the overall car is so nice), Barracuda, McLaren (was lucky to get a fairly flawless one), the '61 Continental, and the Typhoon. My biggest problem was with the Typhoon...the rear section is just a bit too long, overhangs too far, and it really looks off to me.

I just started getting back into hotwheels, found a few treasure hunts yesterday, i love these rlc creation cars, when i was a kid i bought the first club car the boss hoss and the sweet 16 red lines from an older gentleman for 20 bucks a piece and in perfect condition, only condition was i cant sell them and that was 14 years ago, i still have them love those cars

Collectibility and rareness...most of them at the current production levels sell out in like 4 nano seconds. It's crazy. They need to figure out a better way to release them. Having guys on eBay sell them pre-release with a "guarantee" is really annoying when I can't get one despite literally trying to put it in my cart at a half second after release. Maybe limit production, have a raffle system...not allow people to win more than a few raffles a year....I don't know. But the current system is the Wild West.

AMC. Break down each part of all the castings. The javelin has detail on every part. Rims, 2 different wheels, laddar bars, 3 tone "stripped" spectra flame, detailed metal engine, and history. All of these show the capabilities of hotwheels. Proof they can offer better detail for cheaper! Typically, your final choice is far away from mine. The cyclone is the least unique, detailed, or desired. As stated before. These need to be the quality level of the $5 options. Not $20+. Just to he competitive with greenlight,m2, other diecast. Rarities are for the scalpers. Make more for less. Let more enjoy the art.

Moving parts are cool concept, but I feel like a car targeted towards collectors shouldn't be marketed with "play features". Don't sacrifice the quality of the model for something most collectors likely won't use (ie the BMW E46's hood from a year or two ago)

The F1 and the Typhoon were the two RLC models that I was genuinely excited about this year. The F1 was a letdown with the fitment issues and the fact that there are many other manufacturers that have made versions. The Typhoon, however, exceeded my expectations in its execution and finish. Best RLC for me. Biggest surprise was the Lincoln. it came out amazing as well. Wasn't sure with the door issues on other models, but it doesn't have them on my versions so very happy.

Javelin needed a brighter color scheme. G-Wagen shows why marketing needs to stick to marketing. McLaren really love the color. Execution not so much at $50 shipped. Barracuda not my style. Hate the stance. Love the color. Pagani just no. Rx7 I really like this one. Despite not being a jdm fan. Typhoon SPECTRAFLAME BLACK IS NOT A COLOR! Datsun was hoping for a more 90's deco. It's a little plain. Optimus so excited for this one. I felt like a little kid again. Then the fit and finish were subpar, to say the least. And to top it off, the alternate display is too small for it to fit. Dodge no on the crewcab and the color really doesn't do it any favors. Supra pass, the roof is bad. Paint chips are a promise. Mustang meh. That's all I have. Lincoln looks toylike with its painted trim. Silver paint will never look like chrome.

I think elite 64 line should be the line to be compared to mini GT and Tomica vintage. RLC should be anything and everything spectraflame and collaborations. The NFT line should go more towards rare and exclusive numbered but rework or eliminate the digital aspect of it.

Wow, a standard cookie cutter SUV shape in black and gray with black and gray wheels, I can’t imagine anything less interesting. The boom box bed Datsun is way more fun and visually stimulating to look at, as is the Supra. Maybe it should be divided into two categories: Boring black and white (with Super Boring shades of ugly gray!), and actual real colors for people with taste and imagination.
