thank you Langley sisters for this thoroughly enjoyable concert. for my first concert i saw ELO live during their "on the third day" tour, in KC at one of the cowtown's last concerts. suzi quatro opened. they were both EXCELLENT! ELO played their arrangement of "roll over beethoven" as their encore. i was so impressed i went out at bought ELO ll which is the album this song appears on. i also bought quatro's first album. her encore was "all shook up." been an ELO fan ever since. ELO's "out of the blue" is one of the best r&r albums ever produced. thanks jeff and the rest of ELO for years, no decades, of joy you added to my life. and suzi, too. although i didn't follow suzi like i did ELO i still hold her in high regard.

My mum's 87, and she always tells stories of the 50's, going to dances, doing the Jive and the Jitterbug. Even today, 60 something years later, you can't beat roll and roll, gives joy to the musicians, and a crazy sense of joy and happiness to who ever hears it. Long live roll n roll!
