Kate have you ever thought about getting a pepper grinder? That way you don't need to use your mortar and pestle to grind your peppercorns, you just load them in the grinder, give it a few twists when your seasoning your meals and that's it.

I have a box of sweet potatoes that I need to use pronto. :) I don't sew...but I'm still enjoying watching your instruction on the patchwork dog--SO cute! I also eyeball when cooking. Who wants to scrape things from one container to another and dirty a sink full of dishes? ;) The little bite-sized snacks are similar to Lara Bars--dates + other goodies= healthy snack. Happy snack-time Kate!!!! All your snacks look delicious. I think I'd try the sweet potato chips and the cabbage chips. Nuts I love, but these, and even your little healthy balls are true calorie bombs. Three nuts every day, then it would have to work, hahaha!!!!! However, I would have to use a fat other than coconut oil as I just can't bear that smell. But in this case, you can also vary. Your measurement by proportion of proportion was absolutely funny. I usually do it that way when cooking. Not when baking, you should stick to the quantities. Nice if you have delicious and healthy snacks at home. Dear greetings Claudia

Made the soup you made that has carrots, ginger root, turmeric root, pumpkin. sweet potato tomatoes, lentils and every one loved it! Thankfully we have almond, date, pistachio trees in our area of California because pistachios are running around $8 US for 340 g or shy 12 ounces at the store. We love to roast chickpeas with seasoning salt. Kale chips. And us a mandolin to thin slice sweet potato for roasted chips. And we do 350*F or 170* C. Also make parsnip chips.

its about changing a holiday sugar-rich diet (creates improper acidity in your system) to a plant greens-rich diet (creates the proper alkalinity in your digestive tract) Holiday overload can create all sorts of bodily issues from aching joints to rosacea and other skin problems, with vitamin deficiencies thrown in for extra measure. Not forever, just till your gut is in balance again. Takes a while. It's really not hard.

Okay, this video has got me drooling. I’m definitely going to try these. I don’t eat sugar, that’s not to say I don’t like sugar... it doesn’t like me. So, I’m constantly in search of new treats to make. I love using date puree as a sweetener. So the bliss ball recipe is right up my alley. I like to invent recipes and I’ve made a loaded brownie recipe that’s great for when you’re on a hike or just feel like a little snack. It has flax seed meal, hemp hearts, chia seeds, unsweetened coconut, (you can’t taste it much) and unsweetened carob chips, (they’re naturally sweet) raisins and coco powder among a few other ingredients. It’s then sweetened with the date puree. If you’d like to try it let me know and I’ll send it along to you. But for now I think I’m going to give your treats a whirl! Oh boy! 💕

I do my alkaline reset with lemon in my tea and a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar. After a few days the vinegar starts to taste pretty good. It’s kinda like eating a meal.
