Nick is such a good sport. He adds another layer of comedy to the show. I love the vibe they have going on the show it kind of reminds me a little of The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson which is my all time favorite in that they have a script but are not afraid to just go off the rails and follow the jokes wherever they lead and that makes some of the most hilarious moments

Its cute. I met mine on my first ever date at 30 years old. We met on holiday when she had lost her bag and i let helped her to look for it and let her use my phone. When she got back, she called me and i picked her up at the airport. She told me she hadn't eaten so i made sandwiches. Turned out she was allergic to cheese and hates tuna but i guess the corny gesture meant something.. I invited her for a walk in the park which might seem cheap to some but I though it's just simple, less awkward and no pressure. Just a chance to talk and see if anything is there. She took me to dinner and a movie as a thank you and 8 years later we're happy, passionate, tight! Im not a weirdo or cheap.. that's just how things went and what felt right. Not all women want someone to come on too formal and strongly. I guess ppl have strict expectations and sometimes that holds them back

True Story: My future husband and I “Just hung around”, after school, walking to the soda fountain ignoring the rest of the crowd for 3 years, talking & laughing in our own world…graduate HS. and He asks me out on an “official Date” & We go to a steakhouse… He orders a steak (because I was still thinking… About the ridiculous price of a steak… I was a farm girl LOL)…And I finally order a Pepsi. I watched him eating that steak For the next hour thinking, “damn! Oh should have ordered a steak! now I’m hungry!” Two hours later, we went for a drive over a scenic lake and he asked me to marry him💕Years later he told me any woman who didn’t order the most expensive thing on the menu, was never going to be a shopping expense to him and I wasn’t… We had 52+ years a Blissful EXCITING LOVE TOGETHER ❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️

If I recall correctly, I'm pretty sure it was the first show (or soon after) back in-studio from being closed from covid. They made a big deal about how long he had grown his hair out during the pandemic, showed before and after pics, and it just took off from there. It was really funny. He was a lot less willing then though. Seems way more used to being on camera now.

The coffee thing is the worst first date idea ever. I agree with Lauren; it's like a job interview. You need a date with a fun activity, like a tour of a brewery, mini golf, amusement park, etc. Something with an activity, food, and if possible alcohol. Something to take your mind off those inevitable awkward silences that come with getting to know someone, but it's fine, because it's probably your turn to putt anyway.

Tampa does have a special holiday called Gasparilla where we pretend that pirates take over the city and the mayor plays along and hands over the "key to the city".
