One time I went to Wal-Mart after work (I worked at a hotel, in housekeeping, so I had on my housekeeping uniform) and like three people asked me where stuff was. Idk why on earth they thought I worked there with a gray and black uniform. But one of them was an old lady looking for the books, and I knew where the books where, so I just showed her anyway and didn't correct her. Lol

You have to admit though the blue light Special at K mart used to be cool to look for when you was a young child...it was fascinating for a while. Then is the grew older you notice the cart is delapidated the light pole was dangling with duct tape and the light was white because blue glass is expensive

In the 80’s, Kmart had rides, therefore Kmart was infinitely superior. Went back to one about 10 years ago, and it was quite literally the same store it was in 1983. The lighting, the displays, the colors, everything. Like some kind of depressing time warp.

The reason I don't like Walmart anymore which I used to but then I worked there and if you ever do work at Walmart and see how they treat their employees at least my experience and that was about 7 years ago I would like to say that Walmart does not treat their employees as well as they treat their customers and I was enlightened so if I have to go to Walmart I will but it's certainly at the bottom of my list

+Haitsi Lucero I think I know why Kmart died, when I was little it used to be a fairly busy store. Then one day about 15-17 years ago I noticed something different "blue light sale". Wasn't & still isn't sure why the hell they decided to call it that but ever since then Kmart was empty & closed a few years later. Although it still confuses me how a sale can cause a store to die but that's just exactly when it happened. Walmart already existed so I know that nor any other store wasn't the case.

I don't like Walmart but there's no where else to shop. Kmart closed down here shortly after I noticed a major decline in shoppers immediately after they started their Blue Light Sale. There is a Target but their prices are higher & it's further away. So besides Frys which only really has decent deals on food & not clothes or cleaning shit, Walmart is it =\.
